Elf

Elves, akin in form to their human counterparts, bore a distinctive mark of their heritage in the graceful taper of their ears, sharp as a shard and as elegant as the finest craftsmanship. Yet, it was not merely their physical allure that set them apart, for Elves were blessed with a beauty and handsomeness that bordered on the divine, captivating all who beheld them with their radiant splendor.

At the helm of Elven society reigned a sovereign pair, a Queen and a King, whose authority extended far and wide, each bearing the weighty mantle of their respective domains. The Queen, a paragon of arcane mastery, held sway over the ethereal realm of magic, weaving spells of enchantment and wielding the very fabric of reality with her boundless prowess. Meanwhile, the King, a stalwart guardian of his people, commanded the might of the realm's armies and knights, safeguarding their borders and ensuring their prosperity.

Two tribes, born of the same ancient lineage yet divided by the vagaries of history, stood as testament to the intricate tapestry of Elven society. The Wood Elves, guardians of the verdant forests and stewards of nature's bounty, bore a legacy of harmony with the natural world, their spirits attuned to the whispering song of the wind and the rustling dance of the leaves. In stark contrast, the Dark Elves, denizens of shadowed realms and keepers of forbidden knowledge, harbored a tumultuous past marred by conflict and strife, their hearts veiled in mystery and intrigue.

Though the annals of time bore witness to the tumultuous wars that once rent the fabric of Elven society asunder, a fragile peace now reigned, woven from the unbreakable bond forged between the reigning Queens of both tribes. Bound by blood and oath, these regal sisters stood as beacons of unity and reconciliation, their alliance a testament to the enduring spirit of cooperation and harmony that defined Elvenkind.

!!!????

(Sweet! Another cheat skill!)

Oz is very excited because of the new skills he got but suddenly-

<The Tutorial mode had just ended>

< The difficulty will be increased from Easy (Tutorial) mode to Normal mode>

<The magic beasts in the surrounding will now be more active>

"Huh?" Oz said reflexly.

(Does it meant that until now, all of those are just tutorials?)

(Me meeting the goblin duke, the darkness lion, and the demon duke, all is only a tutorial?)

When Oz is in the middle of arranging his thoughts, suddenly-

<The foreign energy cultivation of host's will be drastically decreased >

!!!???

(My Qi, 80% of them disappeared!)

( My cultivation level had not decreased, but the enormous amount of Qi that had been helping my cultivation has gone!>

"This life. Might be not that easy after all, " Oz wryly smiled.

Sigh.

"Ren!" Aegir's call sliced through the chaos, snapping Oz's attention like a well-aimed spell.

With a casual twist of his head, Oz directed his gaze towards Aegir's voice, a smirk playing at the corners of his lips.

"The demon party's over, Oz. Time to head back to base camp for some much-needed R&R," Aegir hollered over the din of battle, his voice tinged with exhaustion.

"Sure thing, boss. I'll catch up with you guys later. Got some looting to do," Oz replied, a glint of mischief dancing in his eyes.

"Just don't go getting yourself into trouble. I'm not keen on playing nursemaid all the way back to camp if you get yourself hurt again," Aegir quipped, his sarcasm dripping thicker than goblin blood.

"Ha! As if I'd let that happen," Oz shot back without missing a beat, his retort punctuated by the sound of metal meeting flesh.

"Weird man," Aegir mused under his breath as Oz sauntered off.

Left to his own devices, Oz meandered through the aftermath of the battlefield, offering silent prayers for the fallen orcs and goblins who had fought alongside him.

(Fought together, huh?)

(Back in my world, it was every man for himself.)

A wry chuckle escaped his lips as he contemplated the unexpected camaraderie he had found amidst the chaos.

"Heh, the lonesome magician finally finds himself some comrades, eh?" Oz quipped, a self-deprecating smirk tugging at his features.

With a casual stride, Oz continued his solitary trek until he reached the fallen form of Duke Incubus.

[ Lootable ]

Oz saw the Lootable window floating above the corpse. Oz approaches the Incubus Duke corpse and touches the Lootable window.

*Whooosh*

4 Cards flew to Oz's hands.

-Incubus [Duke] Corpse Card

-Fire Arch Magic card (S) [Special]

-The ring of phantasm

-The Maleficent staff

"Yes! Arch magic, baby! Now that's what I call a loot worth celebrating!" Oz exclaimed, pumping his fist in triumph, his excitement palpable in the air.

"Alright, time to haul it back to base before old man Aegir starts breathing fire," Oz muttered to himself, a mischievous grin playing on his lips.

Upon his arrival at the half-ruined Orc clan, Oz was greeted by a heartwarming scene. Orcs and goblins, erstwhile foes, now sat side by side, sharing laughter and camaraderie born from battle-hardened bonds.

(If only humans could learn a thing or two from these guys.)

"Ladies and gentlemen, feast your eyes on the man of the hour – Ren! The one who went toe-to-toe with the demon duke and sent it packing all by himself! Our savior! Our hero!" Aegir's booming proclamation echoed through the makeshift halls, met with raucous cheers and applause from the assembled crowd.

"Hail to the hero!" Magra's voice rang out, echoed by the chorus of grateful voices that filled the air.

Oz stood in stunned silence, unaccustomed to receiving gratitude for his deeds. In his previous life, he had always slipped away before anyone could offer their thanks. The swell of appreciation from the Orcs and goblins left him feeling strangely humbled.

"Aegir, you old scoundrel," Oz muttered under his breath, a wry smile tugging at his lips.

After a brief celebration and a much-needed rest, Oz and his newfound comrades wasted no time in setting out for the goblin tribe, wary of further demon attacks.

Upon arrival, they were greeted with a feast fit for kings. Orcs and goblins alike mingled freely, sharing stories and laughter, the weight of their recent victory lifting from their shoulders.

Meanwhile, Oz retreated to his quarters, eager to delve into the Grimoire of Death he had acquired.

Hours passed in rapt concentration as Oz devoured the arcane knowledge contained within the ancient tome. As midnight approached, a surge of understanding washed over him, signaling his mastery of the elusive death magic.

(Finally! Death magic, here I come!)

(Ah, right! Geeta's sword! Almost forgot about that.)

With the Maleficent staff now in his possession, Oz resolved to return Geeta's sword to its rightful owner.

"Time to return this and get some fresh air," Oz muttered to himself as he made his way to Geeta's room.

Pausing outside her door, Oz hesitated for a moment before employing his Qi to sense the situation within. Confirming Geeta's slumber, he entered with utmost stealth, placing the sword on her desk with care.

As he prepared to depart, a soft murmur from Geeta stopped him in his tracks.

"Oz, stay here. There's trouble outside," she muttered, her words laden with concern.

"I'm sorry, Geeta, but I can't. There's still so much I need to see and learn out there. Besides, I have to find other humans," Oz replied gently before slipping out of the room, leaving behind only the faintest whisper of his presence.

With the door closed behind him, Oz took one last glance at Geeta's sleeping form, a pang of regret tugging at his heart. But the call of adventure beckoned, and he couldn't afford to let it pass him by.

Oz's steps faltered as he prepared to retreat to his own quarters.

"Aegir, I know you're there," Oz's voice sliced through the silence, cutting through the tension like a knife.

Aegir felt a cold sweat bead on his brow at the icy edge in Oz's tone, but he scoffed nonetheless. "Cold-hearted as ever. What's with the midnight rendezvous in my sister-in-law's room?" Aegir quipped, his tone laced with suspicion.

"I'm just returning her sword, nothing more," Oz replied coolly, his indifference palpable.

"Hmph, fine. Follow me, Ren. There's something you need to hear," Aegir said, leading Oz to the meeting place where they had discussed the fate of the captured Orc and other pressing matters earlier.

(We, huh? Looks like the gang's all here.)

Upon arrival, Oz found himself face to face with the entire goblin executive team, including Magra, who had already convened for the discussion.

"So, what's the hot topic today?" Oz inquired nonchalantly, his demeanor unchanged.

"We've already hashed this out, thanks to someone who was too engrossed in his reading to hear the knocks at his door," Aegir retorted sarcastically, shooting Oz a pointed glare.

Unfazed, Oz maintained his composure as Aegir continued.

"We're discussing the future of our tribe, Ren. Specifically, whether we should stick with the usual name, Cobblestone, or opt for something new. And since a tribe typically consists of one race, we're a bit stumped about what to call ourselves," Aegir explained, but before he could finish, Oz interjected.

"Tarot," Oz stated calmly, halting Aegir's words in their tracks.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Aegir queried, taken aback by Oz's unexpected assertion.

"We're not just a tribe anymore. We're a kingdom. The Tarot Kingdom," Oz declared, his tone unwavering in its conviction.
