His breathing became heavy as always. The more close he gets to her the more he feel peace as if this is the nirvana he attained. He always wonder is it only with her or he need to check it others too. Never did he get close to anybody but here he feels as if she is a magnet who pulls him with great force. suddenly the sleepyhead beside him changed her position and now she was facing him without any idea they were so close yet he felt distance as she has not confessed him yet he want what is there in her heart. First he was least bother about her feelings but today when he saw her Sameer the way she smiled and hugged him first he felt jealous sad he felt lonely. But how can a stubborn man like him will admit his feeling for her. He was afraid what if she becomes his weakness and leave him broken he is a physically strong boy but mentally when it comes to love Shaizlan is not aware about his feelings. she snuggle close to his chest and put her hand on his waist again his little brother to jump with the volcano being about to erupt. damn this woman don't she have any idea what mess she can lead too. as Shaizlan was having problems to control his desires. Azlain sensed someone presence and tried to open her eyes. her long lashes flutter, it has been one week still she is not use to Shaizlan closeness. she tried to create distance between them as the position was too ambiguous, the moment she tried to step back Shaizlan put his long legs on her to cage her and pressed her hard.
"When....when did you came?" Azlain asked trying to be as calm as possible. he stared deeply into her green eyes, sensing her hesitation with his touch. losing his self control he said, "when you and Sameer were laughing and hugging each other." He bored his eyes into hers waiting for an explanation. she knew it will take time for him to understand things between then but he should know what Sameer is for Azlain. She tried to change the topic. "Do you had dinner?" she asked showing genuine concern. She was concern as she realised his habits of skipping his three times meals due to his hectic schedule and since one week he has been juggling between two countries he is always on his toes. running his fingers through her hair he said, "no I thought to have it with you." the expression now changed in to guilt. she looked at him and placed her hand on his chest feeling his rhythmic beats." I will cook something wait. she tried to get up but he didn't let her even move."
"Be good don't get up let me be like this for awhile" saying this he nuzzle his nose on her neck and rubbed against it making electrifying sensation all through her body she clutched his shirt unintentionally making him want her for more. the rise and falling of her chest was driving him crazy. "Shaizlan" finally she called his name. "You need not to travel here everyday, don't tire yourself too much." Even though she said it with concern but in Shaizlan view he thought she was avoiding him. "why am I interrupting or disturbing you with my presence?" he voiced out. she looked at him and thought for awhile this man why can't he use ounce of his brain, she sighed in her thoughts and said, "it's not like that it's just I don't want you to get tired."
A smile formed on his lips like a flower blossoms on a new day thinking that she is concerned for him. "I feel energetic when I look at you, you are the freshness which takes away all my tiredness." and kissed her forehead "your crowning ceremony soon will take place I have appointed some guards to look after you." here comes the command she thought. "I can handle." she tried to argue but it was of no use. I can't risk Azlain understand this, there is not only internal threat but external too." Azlain thought better to be quiet as she don't want to provoke him further.
"Is it necessary that all the leaders from the world need to be present?" she finally asked him what was keeping her uneasy all the time. he smiled at her and asked "why don't you wanna let the world recognise you? "she nodded as "no" and pouted "I wanna live a carefree life and it is so hard for me to get out even for a second." he chuckled and said, "you have to do this for your country's international relations beside right now many doubt about your identity and it is better you don't hide yourself it will lead to more misunderstanding between you and your people." she realised, why Çinar insist having the crowning ceremony as soon as possible, if it would have happened back then there wouldn't be a nuisance as such.
She nodded in agreement and he kissed her forehead again.
"please eat something", a tiny voice made request again. he looked at her and said in a teasing tone, "but I wanna eat you". she blushed by his shameless comments. he loose his grip and Azlain went to the kitchen to make something. After an hour she came with noodles and some sushi. Steamed dumplings and buns the aroma filled the room and Shaizlan ate with his heart content. He was famished but he don't wanted to show her as he was frustrated when he saw Sameer and Azlain together. he knew Azlain think of Sameer as a friend but his instinct knew Sameer love her more than a friend. And he should act before it is too late. "I am heading back now", saying this he got up. "but you just came and don't you wanna sleep? she asked him. I am an insomniac remember and walked towards her, giving a peck on her lips he brushed her hair and kissed her forehead again. The devil silhouette disappeared slowly but somehow today she felt bad for his hectic schedule.
