Bab 14: Harme or not? Please read!
Let me preface this by saying, I dislike harems, but i have nothing against people that does like them.
I have no problem with people liking harems. Some like it, some don't. That's just the way it works
I happen to belong to the people who doesn't like harems.
When i was between 13-16, I loved harems and ecchi stuff. read and watched everything i could get my hands on.
But as i grew older and i stumbled upon more harem novels and eastern martial/cultivation novels, i started to hate the concept of harems a lot, because of how weirded out and disgusted i became when reading them.
Because i have experienced real relationships, like many others. i realized first of all how unrealistic harems are. Every novel i read on this website mostly has comments saying..
"Harems or i drop" Or something similar. I hate this as well.
But to summarize a few things. Sorry to click bait you guys here. This novel will NOT have a harem, and let me explain why in one sentence.
In every novel that has a harem that i have read so far. There is one "saying" or sentence that always pops up, and that is. "you're strong so of course i can't keep you to myself" or again, something similar to this. I am deeply weirder out by this kind of thinking. It just is not realistic and something about "sayings" similar to that makes me unable to continue reading novels containing harems.
I don't hate harem authors or anyone that likes them. I just can't stand this kind of writing. even if it is fiction. I am sorry if this is a weird rant, but there is literally thousands of things i can say about why i don't like harems now.
But the main point i wanted to address here is to all people asking for harems or thinking that this is where i am going with the novel. It is not. This novel will NOT have a harem in it. For any character. The MC will have romantic interest but i will not detail any sex scenes. Believe me you don't want that. I suck at writing sex scenes, so i will skip them entirely.
If you drop this novel after this, then i understand and wish you good luck in finding a novel more to your taste.
I am just tired of all the comments i see now a days on all sorts of novels, basically begging for a harem. I can't help but think that people begging for this have never been in a real relationship, but maybe that's just me. Let me know what you guys think about harems. Do you like them? do you dislike them? And also let me know why. Would love to know.
And if you got offended/angry and feel the need to throw anger my way. Don't! Just leave quietly and go listen to some smooth jazz, and calm down.
