"This is why I act the way towards you whenever you use your magic. I do not want people to see how strong you are. Did you know there are rumors of somebody collecting people with high level magic?"

"Once they gather them all together. They will end up manipulated and use them. Nobody gathering a group of high level magic users will be up to any good. They will use them until they can longer do so, until they have taken all the knowledge and power from them. Just like how they hog wealth, now they will steal our progress and advancements." Rhys trailed off. "I once mentioned this to your mother."

"My mother?"

"It was before I came here."

"I see."

Rhys blinked startled. It is rare for her to be this obedient. But he supposes she has a lot on her mind.

'I still think the Queen is alive. But if that is the case, why hasn't she come back? Did she just abandon her throne after everything that has happened?'
