Bab 32: Come a little closer
Ray was nervous throughout their entire banter as he knew Elsa was planning something. He could see it in her eyes and smile. What troubled him was that he knew she was planning something for him.
He wanted to ask her and when he was about to, he saw Elsa joining in and playing with everyone. After their drinks, it was around two at noon, they had time till four thirty to roam around.
So Elsa, Adina, Ray and Aaron planned on going to this new ice-cream parlour which opened recently while the rest went home. They got into a bus where Adina and Aaron sat together and the couples together.
Elsa was having a small headache and was tired. She slowly entwined her hands with Ray and leaned on his shoulder.
Ray who was busy checking some photos, suddenly, felt a weight on his shoulder. He saw her trying to sleep with her head on his shoulder and her arms around him.
He could feel her body slightly pressed against him. ' So soft... Why is she so soft?'
He snapped out of his thoughts when he realised what he was thinking about and blushed a little. He turned towards her and saw that her eyes were closed. He smiled and leaned towards a little, he was this close to her cheeks when he retraced and kissed her head which earned him a sweet smile from her. He wanted to slap himself for not being able to stop himself.
She tightened her arms a little which made him feel the softness more. He badly wanted to touch but restrained himself. His hands were in fists and he was slowly loosing control of himself from reaching out and touching it. 'She's going to be the death of me..Shit! '
As Ray was immersed in his sweet torture, he didn't see the smirk on her face. Elsa wanted to laugh as she saw him fighting for his control.Earlier, she just wanted to lie her head down and wait till they reach their destination but suddenly she felt him near her face.
When she felt his kiss on her head, her heart melted. 'Aw.. Isn't he a cutie! '
She sqeezed him a little, naughtily and was happy with the result. She peeked at him to find his hands in fists and his face rigid. She couldn't help but laugh inside that her plan was working so well.
What she didn't know was, all the time she was leaning on him, her buttons on her shirt were open and he could get a clear view on her cleavage.
Little did she know that she was awaking the beast within him.
As soon as they reached their destination, Ray immediately got up to get off. Adina and Aaron was confused with his sudden rush and Elsa's laughter. They shook their heads and got off the bus.
Elsa got off with a huge grin and went beside Ray who had a grim look. Her smile froze ,' Wait... Did it disgust him? '
' But.... I was just teasing... Did I make him hate me? '
Elsa began to worry and asked him," What's wrong?"
Ray looked at her sternly while pointing in front of him," Look... The shop is closed for today. Why did we even come here?"
Elsa looked at where he was pointing and surely it had a closed sign board hanging on the door. She turned to him and asked," Is that why you are mad?"
Ray looked at her and asked confusingly," What other reason is there for me to get mad?"
"Nothing..Nothing.. you just had a grim expression.. That's all." Elsa assured him while sighing inwardly.
"Now, what should we do? " Adina groaned.
Aaron replied,"Nothing, the girls need to go home.. I guess this was a waste of time."
The girls turned to him with their hands on their hips and glared at him.
"What?.. Isn't it time for your curfew? You girls go home while we boys hangout." Aaron smirked while putting his hand on Ray's shoulder.
That's when the girls checked their watches and to their dismay, it was time up for them. Adina groaned while Elsa pouted at Ray.
Ray laughed, and walked towards her and held her hand saying," It's okay ..I will come with you."
"He--y!!! Not fair, dude" Aaron complained.
Elsa stuck his tongue out at him and happily held onto his hands.
Adina sighed and told Aaron," He won't listen, let's go home."
Aaron gave up while mumbling," Not good... even I'm not that henpecked with my girlfriend."
Adina heard him and laughed while making Aaron check for any online ride.There was one nearby their location so within minutes, they bid their farewell.
Elsa turned happily to him after she saw her friends leaving," So, when should we go?"
Ray smiled and said," Now.. I don't want you to be grounded." and went on to order a ride.They have to wait for fifteen minutes for it to show up.
Elsa pouted ," But.. But..a little late is fine,you know... "
Ray found her pout, cute and placed his index finger on her lips and said, " Shush... It's okay.. we have lots of time to go out.. remember."
He had wanted to touch her lips from the start and when he got the oppurtunity to do, he took it.It was just like he imagined, so soft.He wanted to continue rubbing it but knew that would be weird. Suddenly he thought,' If it's so soft while touching, how would it taste?'
Elsa was shocked at his sudden action.She could feel his finger rubbing her lips and she really wanted him to kiss her right there. He was staring at her lips like it was a newfound discovery. She narrowed her eyes and bit his finger which made him snap out of his daze.
Ray grimaced at the pain and looked at her who turned her head sideways while giving a "Hmph!"
He shook his head while placing his arm over her shoulder and pulled her closer. Her lips curled a little and peeked at him with her one eye. He chuckled while saying," Naughty girl.." with his slightly hoarse voice.
Elsa stuck her tongue out playfully when the cab arrived. Both got in and sighed when they sat after waiting for a long time. Elsa was damn tired and she badly wanted a good sleep. Ray was sitting with his head laying backwards and eyes closed.
She knew that he was equally tired so they spend their ride in silence which was very comforting to both of them. Elsa held his hand,squeezing it a little and felt him doing it back to her.She smiled sweetly and saw that the cab was about to reach his place.
She wanted to wake him up but when she turned to look at him, she saw him lying down peacefully. She admired his side profile and felt like hugging him and not letting him go, her personal teddy bear.
She saw him opening his eyes and looking at her with a smile. 'Gosh.. He's soo cute.. It's not fair...'
She wanted to kiss him so badly but didn't want to take the first step but also didn't want to go home without that kiss. She thought about something which made her eyes sparkle.
"Come a little closer."
Ray was confused at this but still obeyed and leaned towards her a little.
Elsa rolled her eyes and said," Little more."
Ray sighed and scooted next to her while asking,"What is it?"
"I want to tell you something. Just come closer."
He sighed and went closer to her, there was only one millimeter distance between them. He could clearly see her face and could feel his heart beat loudly. He was hoping that she could not hear it, he was staring at her eyes, her nose, her full moist lips, her cheeks. He was losing his focus when he felt her turning his head sideways.
He remembered her telling him that she wanted to tell him something and sighed. He waited for sometime but didn't hear anything, as he was about to ask her, he suddenly felt something soft which made his heart stop and the next second he was out of the cab as it was his stop. He saw her waving her hands while laughing uncontrollably.
He was still in his shock that he stood there for a few seconds. Later his lips curled up and he cried silently, "Damn it!!"
