Bab 656: At a Time Like This

"There's no need for that. The place we're heading to is quite far." Tang Zui glanced at her and said flatly.

"Another day, then," Gu Mian said. She fastened the seatbelt, and Tang Zui drove away. All the while, Gu Mian did not look at Tang Zui. She gazed at the scenery outside the window instead.

None of them spoke a word throughout the journey, but a soothing melody was ringing out from the speakers, so the atmosphere between them was not too awkward.

Tang Zui glanced a few times at the young woman in the front passenger seat. He felt rather suffocated.
