While Li Bingbing was taking care of herself for her pregnancy, Xia Sinian would continue on with his treatment every other week but as it went on, Li Bingbing noticed the changes in his appearance. Xia Sinian's complexity became paler.

She was worried about him but Xia Sinian didn't show his pains to her. He would always reassure her that everything was going to be alright and it was just some side effects of the medicine he was taking.

Li Bingbing's tummy slowly grew as weeks went by. Li Bingbing was currently playing on her computer when just then her phone started ringing. When she saw the caller ID, she grinned upon seeing it.

The video call was answered and Li Bingbing's face was seen on Xia Meilin's screen. She was wearing a baggy shirt and her hair was pulled back by a headband.

"And here I thought that you've forgotten about me." Li Bingbing pouted.

"A lot of things happened, and I was busy."
