Rain dragged the dead man's body into the side where no one could see it.
"Who's stupid asking someone "who are you" in this kind of situation, kung pusa yon, May pusa ba namang sasagot?"
Di mapigilang bulong ni Rain sa sarili, habang pilit na hinihila ang katawan ng lalaki.
Pagkatapos masigurong walang makakakita sa katawan, he walked straight sa parang may pituan, but when he was already inside rain noticed that the place was too dark.
"Parang may mali, I really saw a flickering of lights—"
Rain suddenly stop when he realized something, he clearly heard Glaiza's voice in this side but the room seems to be empty.
"At isa pang mas nakakapagtaka, if Glaiza is here, then where are those damn thugs?"
Rain asked himself, He then closed his eyes and listen.
"Glaiza just make a sounds!"
But instead of Glaiza's voice he heard something else, it was like a waves but how come a wave comes in this side when there's no wind?
"Wind. .flickering of lights?"
Rain realized that Glaiza is probably taken in an open space and what he heard was just an echo. He suddenly open the window and looked around.
He saw a stairs in the side and from where he stood makikita ang lugar kung saan sya nakapwesto kanina.
The place seems to be suspicious dahil sa sobrang tahimik nito. Rain slowly climb in the stairs and open the door.
The first thing he'd seen was a candle in the side kung saan kahit gaano man kalakas ang hangin it won't be blown out, Rain followed the rope that attached into it and it was like a flash of light when he realized what was going on.
His jaw drops in horror!
He saw Glaiza lying down, both her hands and feet tied up in the rope that attached to the chopping blade above her, and if the blade drops it will cut her body into half, bigla nalang nanayo ang kanyang balahibo.
"Glaiza!"
Malakas niyang sigaw rito at akma sanang tatakbo papunta sa babae when she stop him.
Biglang napalingon si Glaiza ng may tumawag sa kanya and for the first time she felt grateful when someone called her stage name.
But then she was struck in horror, as if she saw a ghost.
"Rain?—watch out!"
It was just a split of second and like a lightning strike, Rain was dashed into the wall when someone hit him with a hard object in his stomach.
"Ahhhgggg!"
Malakas niyang sigaw, he spat a little blood.
"You idiot—what are you doing in here?"
Natatarantang sigaw ni Glaiza sa kanya na hindi man lang narinig ni Rain, parang nabingi ang lalaki sa lakas ng impact.
When Rain look up, he saw someone tall and big standing infront of him.
The man that stood before him is like a giant with an ugly scar in his face that makes him more terrifying.
"Troll. .mountain troll?"
Anyang mukhang tinakasan ng bait, habang nakanganga ng makita ang malahiganting tao sa kanyang harapan.
"Yaaah. .wake up!"
Glaiza shouted when she saw the giant swing his hands again but this time Rain was already aware.
Rain jump off as soon as the man swing the big thing he's holding in his hand.
"Damn.! What's going on here?"
Di niya mapigilang mura at tanong kay Glaiza.
"How did you come in here?"
"I come here on my own and tie both of my hands and feet with that stupid thing above—"
Glaiza hissed, is that even a question?
Of all people why did you send this idiot here? Ani Glaiza na hindi alam kung matutuwa oh maiinis sa presensya ng lalaki.
"Watch out from behind!"
Malakas niyang sigaw dahil nakikita niya ang posistion ng malahiganting lalaki mula sa kanyang kinaroroonan.
"That's right be my eyes—"
"This is crazy!"
She grit her teeth, sya na nga itong nasa ganoong nakakatakot na situation idagdag pa ang presensya ni Rain na mas lalong nagpapalala sa kanyang nararamdaman.
"Do something you idiot—don't you dare die in here!"
Rain suddenly stops when he heard Gliaza sobbed bitterly.
"Stop crying I can't concentrate in here!"
Rain saw a garden hose and jump on it when the giant followed him, he suddenly pulled it that makes the man collapse in the ground at dahil sa laki nito hindi ito kaagad nakabangon.
He stood up immediately and run towards Glaiza.
"Glaiza, how do I removed this things?"
"I don't know—just leave me, Go. .go!"
Frustrated na sigaw ng dalaga habang tinataboy ang lalaki.
"Shut up!"
Malakas na sigaw ni Rain sa kanya.
"How could I leave you—how?"
Anyang hinihila ang isa sa mga tali na nakagapos sa kamay ng babae.
Glaiza did not stop him but he stop on his own when he saw the blades slowly drops while he was desperately shaking it.
"How could he do this to you? You been working your ass with him and this is what you got?"
That bastard been tricking you, all this time! When your brother was already dead long ago! Gusto sana niyang idagdag pero pinigil niya ang sarili, lalo lang mawawalan ng pag asa si Glaiza pag sinabi niya rito ang totoo.
"What do you mean?"
"Your such an idiot! you should escape from this hell and know the truth by yourself!"
Rain said instead in an angry voice.
"Rain. !"
Malakas na sigaw ni Glaiza ng makita niya ang malaking anino sa likod nito.
Rain suddenly switch his position ng maramdaman niya ang presensya ng bakulaw, this time the giant had an axe with him.
He was furious when Rain was no longer in sight so he aim on the girl he saw lying on the ground.
Glaiza rolled in the other side ng sya ang inundayan ng lalaki at naputol nito ang lubid sa kanyang kamay.
"Ahhhhhhhhh!"
Malakas na sigaw ni Glaiza, when the blade suddenly drops. Napigil niya ang hininga at naipikit ang mga mata sa sobrang takot.
Out of impulse Rain jumped on it and pulled the rope with his bare hands.
"Rain I don't wanna die in here!"
"You're not going to die, not when I'm here—"
Mariing sabi ni Rain sa kanya, hindi niya alam kung paano iligtas ang babae pero isa lang ang alam niya, gagawin niya ang lahat to save her.
"Trust me, ok?"
"My brother still needs me, Rain!"
Impit na hagulgol nito.
Rain pulled the rope with all his might ng bigla na naman siyang sugurin ng bakulaw and this time he never dodge his attacked dahil kapag bibitaw sya alam niyang mapapahamak si Glaiza.
Napaluhod sya sa sobrang sakit, pakiramdam ni Rain na parang nadurog ang kanyang kaliwang balikat ng sanggain niya ang palo nito.
Muntik na syang mawalan ng ulirat but he's will is way more stronger.
The giants suddenly step back na parang may iniinda, Rain make himself as a bait and deleberately took the giants attacked and stub him in the side of his stomach.
Bumulwak doon ang dugo ng lalaki habang pilit nitong hinihila ang kutsilyo mula sa tiyan nito.
"Ahggggggg!"
Sigaw nito, his voice sounds like a grave, na ikinatayo ng kanilang balahibo.
The man has some psychological issue dahil limitado lamang ang bawat galaw nito at nahinuha ni Rain na malabo din ang mga mata ng lalaki at hindi rin ito nagsasalita.
But his strength is not a joke!
"Rain, you're bleeding!"
Hagulgol ni Glaiza ng makita ang mga dugo na tumutulo mula sa kanyang kamay.
"Let it go Rain, you have done enough!"
"This is nothing compare to the situation you are in—right now!"
Rain grit his teeth, he's already losing his strength but he could not just give up.
Not now!
Ani Rain sa sarili, We have two option in here, either sabay tayong lalabas rito or sabay tayong mamamatay!
He then saw the candle na ngayon lang niya talaga napagtuonan ng pansin. Sinundan niya ng tingin ang lubid na kasalukuyang kinakain ng apoy.
Ang naturang lubid ay mas malaki kesa sa lubid na nakatali sa kamay at paa ni Glaiza and it was attached directly in the blade samatalang ang lubid na nakatali sa kamay at paa ng babae ay nasa gilid lamang that serve as a mechanism.
"It only means that with a perfect moves, Glaiza will be save dahil ang lubid na nakatali sa kanya ay pangulo lamang!"
And why did they put the candle, Kung pare-pareho lang naman ang kinalabasan? Di niya mapigilang tanong sa sarili.
Both of them gasped in horror when the giant stood back.
Rain doesn't have a time, malapit ng maputol ang naturang lubid.
Without a word, binitawan niya ang hawak na lubid and runs toward the rope na sinundan naman kaagad sya ng bakulaw, inilang hakbang lamang niya ang kanyang pagitan sa lubid and caught it right on time before it's too late.
The giant pushed him out, dahil nga hindi masyadong nakakakita ang bakulaw, he fell down and drag Rain with him.
"Rainnnnnn!"
Glaiza scream echoed in the middle of the night.
"I'm so sorry Rain—I'm so sorry!"
