Bab 21: The Truth about New Things

It's hard being new. I like excitement and possibilities, but when I'm tired, I want to go back to the peace I find in my friends. In what and who I know and choose. Being new is hard. It means trying new things and putting yourself out there. It's exhausting. Having your energy seep away in your efforts that may or not lead to a friendship-but a lesson. Something that you take with you and apply it to the new one. The new one. It's exhausting, and exciting. Discovering more about what you like and what you want. What makes you happy, or happier. Opening your eyes to something new.
