With his eyes wide open, he immediately noticed the figure lying on top of him. He showed a hint of worry and quickly checked the woman's condition. She seems to have suffered a few fractures on her bones but she was still able to survive that fall. Maybe it's because his own body cushioned her fall which explained the throbbing pain in his chest and stomach.

As Shin Jiao also scanned his body, he could see that a few of his bones are also cracked.

Even though he is already very strong and is wearing a suit, he still suffered such injuries. This only explains how deep the ravine was.
