Bab 12: LIKE MOTHER LIKE SON
Jade walked up to Klaus' side as the chattering continued. The old man felt very satisfied with him self 'With her around I can die with total peace of mind. ' He thought.
He stood up and stepped forward the room suddenly went quiet. One would think at his age he would be walking with a stick and holding on for his dear life but no, the man stood upright and walked gracefully. He silently scanned the room and seemed to nod at somebody before he began his speech.
"Fellow clan members most of you have a slight clue as to our gathering well I'm here let me solve your riddle. Kids grow up before you can say Jack and most parents feel reluctant to cope with the situation and letting their young ones go into the big bad world. But I am not not because I'm heartless but because I know he has someone to face it with him someone who when she gets up from bed and lands her feet on the ground the devil goes 'oh crap, she's up'(Dorian Ormonde).
"That so it is with great pleasure that I introduce to you my daughter Liàng Luna Regina." He motioned Jade and Klaus forward. He placed if arm around her shoulder in a fatherly way but it still triggered a slight glare from Klaus.
He continued "I hope you will all welcome her as part of the clan and treat her like one of our own. Also... I would like to announce that my second son Klaus Athan Jevron as the successor to the vampire clan." As he said this the whole room went in an uproar.
some where happy, some where surprised others had no emotion as the thought it was obvious who among the three brothers would be the successor. Lorcan was a little to excited as he clung to Klaus' left leg and tears of Joy run down his face only to receive a glare from his father which warned him to watch his manners.
After Jade or rather Luna introduced herself to all the people and exchanged pleasantries the party ended.
After the last person left Luna was conversing or rather having a banter. "Luna"
She heard a woman's cold voice she turned to see Klaus' mother on the stairs "Come" she added as she gracefully ascended the stairs.
Luna was a bit hesitant but with a bit of self encourage she followed suit.
The woman entered a room and she once again followed suit.
Immediately she closed the door "Aaah" she shrill voice was almost defining. Suddenly Luna caught a strong sense of déjà vu 'Lorcan'. She turned to see the once the once indifferent woman acting like a teenager who was just given a car for her birthday.
"Ooo my dear little lulu how it killed me that I couldn't see you. Oh how gloomy the world was. Have you been eaten properly? Are you facing problems? Tell me mother will make sure to wipe them out of existence?."
Suddenly another strong sense of déjà vu hit her 'Why do I feel like I'm talking to Effia?' Luna thought.
Because her memories are now unsealed Luna could faintly remember that Klaus introduced this woman to her before the night of the.... ahem incident as his mother. And she acted just like this she remembers the woman was quite reluctant to let her go but finally parted after a long run of negotiations.
Luna could faintly remember that she had promise to travel with her to the main Jevron house which was located on and island of the coast of Asia in a secret island which was unknown to humans For some family bonding.
As Luna slowly drifted away from her thoughts she noticed that the woman was clinging to her, arms wrapped around her waste. 'So this is where Lorcan gets his behaviour from' she inwardly sighed as she thought 'like mother like son'.
