Rex slides done on the ground. "I am sorry Kitten, I was not able to keep you from suffering. You are so strong and gallant. I would do anything to keep you from harm. What did you have to suffer like this? When will you be able to relax and live your life as it should?" 

"It is because I am your granddaughter. That I am who I am forever and always. I know that Yuki expects me to sleep and I am exhausted but Grandfather, I knew that you would blame yourself. I do not hold you responsible. Yuki may have gotten mad at you and given you sh*t but just remember that I am your family. I know you best. The seal may have broken but I am alive and I intend to stay that way." Kitty opened her eyes weakly and looked over at Rex. "I am so very tired." Her eyes closed once more and she succumbed to the sleep.
