"And do you want to keep her on house arrest inside your house Prince Cheng?" Wang Gong asked almost mockingly, then he shook his head. 

"My decision is final. We either put her into the palace prison or send her to the exiled land while her trial is still ongoing. You choose." 

"General Wang, this…" Long Cheng stuttered but nodded helplessly to the general. "Let me at least talk to her for a moment…" He said almost begging. 

When Wang Gong nodded and turned around to give them space, Long Cheng looked at Lu Meili helplessly, "I will help you get out of the prison as soon as possible, I promise…" He said before reaching for her head and patted it. Unable to resist, he circled his arms around her for a tight hug. 

"Can you take care of my things for now?" Lu Meili asked.
