Ps. Sorry not sorry, a lot of switching pov between 3rd and Iryan's. Good luck✨

(THIRD POV)
When Mateo and Iryan were about to reach where the Crowell couple was, Mateo suddenly halted his steps. His face paled,
"Hm? What's wrong?" Iryan questioned, a bit irked that the other stopped without warning- it almost made him drop the book because of the bump.
"...forgot something" the ravenette mumbled hurriedly,
"We did?" Iryan frowned, he already made sure to count the books and he was sure that Mateo won't make such a simple mistake, especially to be that clumsy.
"Let's just check, I'm sure Mo-- Mother and Father wouldn't mind"
(IRYAN'S POV)
"Let's go check" he sounded rushed… I'm sure Mo-- Mother and Father wouldn't mind"
Odd, why is he like this? He sounded like he just saw something horrific or something. Is there something wrong...?
Just to be sure,
I opened my right eye a bit and surveyed the surrounding place-- oh,
Pfft-- I closed my eyes back and simply followed to wherever Matty is leading me to, probably, a decent distance away from here.
His hands that held mine were trembling.
Embarrassed aye? Well, if I were him. I would've died from 2nd hand embarrassment on the spot. I'm amazed he hadn't broken out sprinting by now.
I spy with my little eye, an embarrassed Matty with his two PDA love birds (crow) parents~
Mateo kept on walking and I simply followed behind. Though as much as I want to muse how cute he is, my hand that's holding the book is starting to get numb.
"Matty… we should really meet your parents, you know"
"...ah" he softly gasped, "Yea, we should"
With how much we walked, I'm quite certain that we almost went through the entire store, if not already. After a few more minutes of walking, we finally reach our original destination.
"Oh, hey kiddo. Have you finished searching all the books?"
"Yes,"
"Yes~"
We both answered,
"Ok, me and quill also just finished browsing…
(More like flirting)
...give me the books, it must've been quite heavy right? we'll meet you outside"
(Are you gonna flirt more sir?)
"This is all of them, father" Mateo being the bot that he is, even after all these years, was still as stiff and mechanical as a bot.
The heavyweight from my hands was also taken off… I can finally feel my hand again~
(THIRD POV)
After Mateo took the books Iryan was holding and gave them to his father. He couldn't help but notice the goofy grin Iryan had while moving his left hand up and down, fanning it vertically.
Were the books too heavy for him? He was pretty sure he gave them the lightest ones already.
Little did he know, Iryan wasn't ambidextrous like he was nor was he left-handed. Holding a considerable amount of weight in a non-dominant arm feels heavier than holding it in the dominant arm.

Mateo led Iryan towards the store's exit, carefully avoiding the people that walked past them as to not let Iryan bump into any of them.
It's been a while since he last led Iryan in a crowd, but he manages.
"Ryan?" A voice called out,
Iryan stopped and so did Mateo who was holding his hand. Iryan simply raised an eyebrow and move his head towards the direction of the sound.
"Hey Harry, didn't think we'll meet again so soon"
"Yea…" Harry dragged his words, looking suspiciously at Mateo, and the latter too, stared back at him, "who's this?"
"Oh, Right! You two never officially met before," Iryan exclaimed,
Mateo always went back to the Crowell's on Christmas eve, New Year, or some random days and stayed only for a day or two. Oddly enough, he and Harry always managed to miss each other.
"This is Matty," Iryan casually pointed Mateo with his thumb, "the bot"
Mateo frowned on that title,
"And this is Harry,"
Harry nodded his head towards Mateo, "nice to meet you, I'm Harry Potter"
"...Potter?" Mateo unconsciously muttered out,
"Hm, yes...?"
"Ah--" the ravenette widened his eyes, "my apologies, I'm Mateo Crowell… as you probably already have heard"
Iryan hummed, was 'Potter' an important name or something? Why did he emphasize 'Potter'?
"Yea, it seems Ryan also had told you about me too" Harry's smile was pressed to a thin line,
A conversation between a not so social boy and a robot ends with an awkward silence... no surprises there. Iryan sighed, "Yes, yes. I told Matty bout you in letters and told Harry about you verbally." Iryan leaned to Mateo's shoulder, crossing both of his arms to his chest. He muttered under his breath, "I let you two lead the conversation for once and it became like this, tch"
Harry could only laugh helplessly, while Mateo stared at Iryan, several questions were itching in his throat.
This was the first time he found out that the Harry Iryan was talking about, was 'The' Harry Potter. If this was the case then, things might get a bit complicated. Especially in Hogwarts.
And judging by how he treated him-- no, this was Iryan he was talking about. He might have already known who Harry Potter is and what it meant to be closely acquainted with him…
"Did you get everything you needed?" Iryan asked,
"Yep, we're almost done. Me and Hagrid were just about to go to Ollivanders" Harry waved at Hagrid who was holding several things in one of his grasps just across the street, he waved back,
"Sighh… seriously, if I had known... I would've gladly helped you on these things"
Mateo nearly choked, "'if' he had known" ????
Harry chuckled, "I told you, I just found out recently"
'what?' Mateo bit his lip, even the person himself… wasn't aware? 'recently found out?'
"Dad seemed to have seen your accidental magic, yet he didn't tell me"
"Mr. Crowell probably wasn't sure"
The ravenette became more confused by the second before-- right… Father and Mother cut most contact with the wizarding world, Ryan also never went out much. They probably haven't heard, but the Potter's are quite famous, so shouldn't they know?
.
.
.
"Did we make you wait long Kiddo?" Mr. Crowell greeted them, and Mrs. Crowell followed not far behind with a book in hand.
"No father," Mateo answered,
"Oh, hello again Harry"
"Hello sir" Harry greeted him with a smile. It was always a pleasure talking to Iryan and the couple, but, He couldn't help but feel envious of the family in front of him--
Yes,
A family,
After all. To outsiders, they are a picturesque family of four. A father, a mother, and two sons. One had inherited the Father's looks while the other inherited the mother's.
The father works as a banker, the mother work as a tailor, the oldest had an unfortunate incident as a kid and went blind, now he studies in the local school under the care of the teachers, While the youngest studies abroad and occasionally comes home to visit during Christmas and new years.
Yes, this was the play the Crowell's decided to put.
A family of four,
"Oh, I almost forgot, I need to buy something down the road." Mr. Crowell said quickly turning around, "I'll meet with you guys later"
"Sure," Mrs. Crowell mumbled her eyes still glued into the book,
"Yes," Mateo nodded,
"Ok," and Iryan hummed, sending the Crowell head off, he the perked up, "Harry, we'll also be going to Ollivanders next. Might as well" he grinned,
"Yea," Harry enthusiastically replied, "oh, I better tell Hagrid then" he ran off across the street to call upon the giant man.
Iryan let out a humm and march forward with no hesitation, "let's gooo" he was held back by his 'brother'
"Wrong direction," he said nonethecalantly, carefully guiding him to the other direction.
...
"Good Afternoon" a tall old man greeted them, "Oh, seems we have a bit of a full house here"
The place was filled with stacks upon stacks of boxes, neatly arrange yet have that slight claustrophobic feeling with how narrow-spaced it was there. Yet, it also had that nostalgic feeling to those who had probably been here before.
Landing his eyes on Harry, The old man's eyes sparkled like a kid seeing a candy. He went on and on, telling tales of his parents and… You-know-who. Though riddled, it was obvious.
Mateo took a peek at both his Mother and Iryab, they both seemed to be unbothered. Which made him more confused, do they already know or just don't care? He couldn't help but sigh in his heart.
Curiosity kills the cat,
It's better that he just stand back and watch for now. When the time comes, the answers will be known to him in the end anyway.
"Hagrid!!" Mr. Ollivanders finally paid attention to the rest, he always seemed to reminisce their name with the type of want they use. Hagrid was "Oak, 16inch, a bit bendy" and Mrs. Crowell was "ebony, 10 inches, sturdy"
And finally… "And Mateo Crowell, Phoenix, Sandalwood, 11 inches, flexible"
"Wait… you already got yours???" Iryan spun his head at Mateo's direction, so fast the latter almost thought Iryan got a whiplash.
Mr. Ollivanders chuckled, "he indeed did. Just a few months ago, in fact"
"Not fair,"
Mrs. Crowell eyed Iryan's behavior disapprovingly, "Iryan...," her voice warned. The honey blond humped but did not say anything else.
"Now, now," Mr. Ollivander pulled out a silver measuring tape "Let's get started, what's your wand hand?"
Harry looked around like a lost rabbit while Iryan pulled out his right hand out of Mateo's hold, "Right" he said, and whispered to Harry's ear after "your dominant hand"
Harry let out an 'oh' before showing his right hand, "Also right"
"Alright then, please hold out your arms now
The wandmaker began to measure both Iryan and Harry from shoulder to finger, wrist..... and some seemingly odd places to measure for figuring out a wand. while doing so Ollivander explained about the physics and wonder of the wands, and that no two wands can be the same-- just like twins. Even the most Identic, is in fact, different.
Mr. Ollivander then gave Harry and Iryan different kinds of wands to try out. The first... well, Iryan's nearly blew the store up while Harry's was immediately snatched by Ollivander back. They kept on trying different kinds of wands.
"Dragon, Maple, 12 inches and sturdy," he gave it to Iryan who felt something clicked just as soon as he touch it, small cyan swirls sparked out from the tip and danced around before disappearing "I knew it, this was a commissioned wand I made few years back from a request of an old friend..." He smiled subtly, chuckling as if remembering a fond memory of old.
'Hm?' Mateo furrowed his brows 'sounds like a flag'
"I'm glad it finally has an owner"
'definitely a flag'
"then why didn't you give the wand to your friend, sir?" Harry oh so innocently asked,
Mateo stared at Harry from the corner of his eyes, his face was as deadpanned as ever. Harry noticed and stared back, though it wasn't hostile buy they both kept doing it for several seconds before Mateo broke the eye contact first.
Iryan was too busy admiring the wand at hand to notice, while Mrs. Crowell simply ignored the two's staring contest wholly, leaving Hagrid feeling uncomfortable all alone.
"Well..." Ollivander also seemed to haven't notice the small staring session from the two, "let's just say he wont be needing it"
"okay?"
"Yes, but you'll be needing a wand. Let's continue our search shall we?" he pulled out another box, "Your a bit of a tricky customer, huh? let's see... maybe not this one... or maybe-- should we try that one?"
he pulled a completely different box and gave it to Harry, "holly and phoenix, eleven inch, nice and supple" he said,
.
.
.
"That should be all that you'll need before you go to Hogwarts" Mrs. Crowell chimed, then looked at Harry, "Do you need a lift when it's time to board the train, Harry?"
"Yes, thank you for the offer miss. sorry for the inconvenience"
"It's not a bother at all Harry," she shook her head "you're also welcome to visit anytime you want"
"Yes ma'am,"
"see you later Harry~" Iryan waved off
"yea," Harry waved back to empty eyes, he then looked to the newest member of the Crowell he just met today. Mateo was staring at him with those sharp violet eyes of his'. Harry didn't feel any animosity from the ravennette, but it was still a bit uncomfortable to be stared at.
Mateo nodded towards him, not saying anything and he also did the same.
After the three crows left. Hagrid cleared his throat to catch Harry's attention, "Well now, we still have some time before we send ye back to yer uncles house. care for a bite?"
Harry looked at Hagrid's figure who seemed to be a bit nervous. He chuckled, "Yes please" it seemed even a giant man like Hagrid could still get nervous around the Crowell's. Couldn't say he was surprised.
1k word shorter than the other chaps, but I honestly couldn't think of anything for this chapter. The next... should be about Hogwarts, right? should I add another chara? i'm really tempted, but I think the ballance would be destroyed. any ships maybe?
