Jiang Xiao Xian watched Yang Yun silently as he waited for the servant to placed down some refreshment on the table. Then, Xiao Xian waved a hand to dismiss the servant and poured some tea for Yang Yun.
"Sit down," Jiang Xiao Xian pointed towards an empty chair.
Yang Yun glanced at the chair before he obediently sat. He opened his mouth to speak but stopped when Xiao Xian pushed the teacup to him.
"Have a drink," Xiao Xian said. His deep voice sounded like a command.
Yang Yun took a sip and put the cup down.
"I seem to recall that you're on a month break," Jiang Xiao Xian said. "Why are you so eager to return to the border?"
Yang Yun smiled faintly and lowered his gaze. "The one month break was approved for my wedding. But now," he did not continue, but Xiao Xian knew what Yang Yun meant.
Jiang Xiao Xian drank his tea slowly. "You don't have to return to the border with me and the others. Stay in the capital and look after your mother and sister."
