Bab 817: I'm Asking For A Payment
L finally nodded slowly and buried her face in the man's shoulder. They remained in that position for a few moments. Until finally, Lily's cry stirred the silence.
"Lily is awake ..."
London turned to his baby cot and nodded. "Yeah... she must be hungry. She also fell asleep before taking her bath. You take care of Lily first, I'll prepare water for her bath."
He then lowered L's body and watched the girl walk over to their baby and lifted Lily. The little baby started protesting because she was left alone. L took Lily to her lap lovingly and nursed her.
London watched the scene with a faint smile. Not long after, he entered the bathroom and prepared warm water to bathe Lily. It felt strange, too, after marrying L, nothing had changed in their lives. The most striking difference was that now he and L have opened up to each other and expressed their love without restraint.

Missrealitybites Volume 3 will soon come to an end. We will only see how London teach the Wendells and Danny Swann a lesson and hold the wedding party to introduce L to his people. These are all going to be laid out in the next 20s chapters.
What's next? Well... once we conclude Volume 3, we will continue with Volume 4, which is also the last volume on this book.
As I have explained before, London's story was supposed to be a short and fluffy side-story for this novel. The real Volume 3 will see Vega, as the third generation, navigate her life among regular humans.
The plan was to write a trilogy about the first generation: Caspar Schneider, second generation (the daughter): Aleksis, and third generation (the granddaughter): Vega.
But somehow, London's story, which was supposed to be short and only a side story, seemed to create a life on its own and we end up having 250 chapters where he met L and got entangled in their romance. I felt like I had to do justice to him and turn it into a real volume. Thus, we have Volume 3.
Now that they finally found their happily ever after, I will resume the plan to continue the story with Vega. Volume 4 is titled: "The Sky Full Of Stars".
Nicolae will finally find his happiness in Volume 4, and so will Lauriel. Alaric's past will come back to haunt him, and the big family will face the biggest problem they had ever encountered. And everything will revolve around Vega Linden, Alaric's firstborn.
