Bab 83: My girlfriend
"Huh, you sure plan to marry early. I haven't even thought of it yet." Queen replied easily and sipped on her ice tea.
"You should. You do realize that you are my fiancée and the person I intend to marry is you right?" Quince asked bluntly, causing Queen to choke on her ice tea.
"But I'm just 23!" Queen whined immediately. As if she would get married that quick! Her cat was insane.
"Hmm" Quince narrowed his eyes but didn't say anything further. Clearly it was going to get some persuading to make her agree to the marriage.
They continued their meal in silence with various thoughts running in their minds.
But the silence didn't stay for long, as they were disturb by someone.
"Help!" A man suddenly crept up from the ground, crouching right beside Queen.
Queen was surprised and turned around to see her good friend, Evan.
Evan is of mix culture between the east and the west, his hair and eyes are both black, but his skin and height is that of the west side.
Evan was also Lancelot's loyal friend in their previous lives, Nicholas.
"Evan, what are you doing here?" Queen asked with an amused smile on her face. Seeing Evan sweating profusely, she knew something was up.
"It's my mother! She found a girl for me, again!" Evan whispered yelled to Queen. He was so glad to run into his buddy here.
"Why Evan, weren't you whining about how you wanted a girlfriend day before on the phone?" Queen asked as she swung her legs playfully.
"A girlfriend that I find on my own! Not this absurd match making arranged by my mother!" Evan replied immediately.
Quince face had turned black ever since he saw a guy crouching beside his fiancée. They were whispering things and they seemed to be really close!
It was still alright until Quince heard that they had been talking on the phone day before! Quince was burning with jealousy. Didn't she say that she doesn't have a lot of guy friends?!
He even found out that she doesn't really like men since she thinks of them as pests?!
Quince couldn't let the situation go on further and so he cleared his throat to attract attention.
Both Evan and Queen turned to look at the source of the sound.
Seeing his expression, Queen felt like clutching her head as it throbbed furiously. 'DAMN, he's jealous again.'
Evan on the other hand had frozen stiff. Evan is someone with past life memories too so as soon as he saw Quince, he knew the person in front of him was Luna.
"Oh Lu-" Evan wanted to greet Quince but before he could do so, his mouth was blocked by Queen's hand.
Queen had a dark expression and a twisted smile on her face as she made the introductions.
"Quince, this is my friend Evan. Evan, this is my fiancé Quince de Roi." Queen explained shortly.
Evan eyes widened as soon as he heard that. Queen never told him about being engaged! She only said that she found Luna.
Quince on the other hand was poking his knife on the table as soon as he saw Queen's hand on some other guy mouth.
He couldn't take it anymore as he stood up and walked over to Queen before pulling her hand away from Evan's mouth and making her stand beside him.
"Who are you and what do you want from my fiancée?" He asked with a mighty cold expression on his face.
Evan seeing that familiar expression, an expression Luna would have every time he played with Lancelot, knew Quince was jealous again.
'It's been so long since we last met. I supposed he doesn't have any memories left. I hope Queen doesn't mind that I fool around a bit.' Evan thought evilly before answering Quince.
"My name is Evan Letroy. I need your fiancée to be my girlfriend."
