Bab 507: Tuition
For any American readers out there, if you plan to study at a college or university, I highly recommend choosing a German university.
The main reason would definitely be tuition. In America you'd be paying tens of thousands a year just on tuition. Some of my American friends even need to pay upwards of 60k just for tuition (annually). That means you'd still have to pay for housing, food, etc. (And the number is way higher for foreigners)
In Germany, the tuition is at a measly few hundred dollars maximum.
The money you'd save just on a bachelor's degree would be more than enough to buy a nice house.
Disclaimer: although I am a supporter of Germany's super affordable higher education, I detest their lower education system.
