Bab 105: Wake up

Jack stood there for a few seconds as a cold sensation moved around his chest to his whole body, he felt his stomach churning as the contents of it bubbled to get out.

He turned around and looked at Sophie and Meadow, who were standing at a place with their eyes widened.

They were looking at the dead bodies, shell-shocked. And didn't knew how to react.

Jack moved and hugged Sophie in his arms. "Don't worry you are safe now." He whispered in her ears.

It was only after feeling his grip on her body did she broke out of her stupor and sighed in relief that they were safe now.

She moved her head and looked Jack in the eyes, however, soon enough realization hit her as she felt his body leaning on her for support, and his eyes closing against his will.

"Jack..." A shudder moved through her body and she kneeled on the floor with Jack's head in her lap.
