Many people knew that not even guns are capable of finishing off an aswang due to their overwhelming recovery ability. 

But if there is something they need to be truly afraid of, that is a non-other than the Aswang killer tool- the Tail of a Pagi, which is basically a massive stingray tail, soaked in special holy water and dried in the sun for seven days.
