Bab 136: The Message
The Shah knew something was wrong. He cannot plan a war without his generals..they were the ones who were supposed to strategise everything..Rudra Verma was a treasure trove when it came to all the military secrets of Pinaka..and Zaffar encountered Pinaka earlier..hr knew about all the military formations Pinaka knew...without them..he was left alone..he did not know what to do..
He was strolling in his tent..then he stopped and thought of something..he approached his writing table and started writing something on a scroll..he read it twice and then took out his ring..placed a red wax candle in fire..melted it..immersed his ring into the molten wax and stamped the scroll with his ring.. the scroll now had the coat of arms of the Shah indicatingthe validityb of the scroll..then he summoned a messenger and said, ' give this to Emperor Pinaka..!' The messenger took the scroll ..bowed and went outside..

Meanwhile , Samyukta departed from the open space where she executed the punishment..she was followed by Pinaka..she had blood spattered over her body..she took a long bath..that helped soothe her senses..she came out and dressed herself..Pinaka was looking at her..he did not talk..he was waiting for Samyukta to break her silence..her eyes were calm....her face just looked peaceful, yet there was a sign of distress in it..she drank some water..gulped and ..she looked at Pinaka and said,' I never dreamt that a day like this would come...' and sighed..Pinaka walked towards her..took her hand in his and pulled her towards him..she buried her face into his chest..he caressed her long tresses and said, ' everything is fine now....I am here..' she said, 'hmm....' they hugged for few more moments..then they heard some noise outside their tent..they composed themselves and Samyukta said, ' who is there?'
A guard entered the tent, bowed to them and said, ' There is a messenger sent by the Shah of Iran..' they looked at each other, Pinaka said, ' ok, ask him to come in..'
The messenger came in, bowed and knelt before the royal couple, raised his hands above his head and held the scroll ..
Pinaka stepped forward, took it and started reading it..his face became clouded , he handed it over to Samyukta..,she too read it and frowned..
