Bab 684: A Timid Elite-Grade Lizard

An endless desert, as the sky is filled with yellow sand blown up by the wind.

There were only some scattered trees that had no leaves at all on their branches, which looked like they lost their lives, and some sharp grass which was tight together, stubbornly surviving.

In front of a huge circular sand dune, a level-65 elite-grade "Desert Tailed Lizard" was carefully crouching in the skull of a weathered, unknown large animal. It had a body less than half a meter in size covered with sand-colored scales.

Although its grade was elite, being at the bottom of the hierarchy in this area meant that it also had to be careful at all times of the higher-grade predators.

Suddenly, however, its head moved.

It could hear a sound a kilometer away with its sensitive hearing as if it felt something was moving at high speed from under the sand dunes next to it.

But it first shrank its body again, ensuring that it was more stealth in its hiding.
