Sarah grinned maniacally upon seeing Sayuri fall down.
She couldn't believe it. The plan had worked perfectly. There was no need to fall onto her back-up plan at all.
She knew that Sayuri would need to go for one more appointment, so she had called up the clinic and pretended to be Sayuri. She was polite and acted suitably embarrassed to say that she had forgotten when the appointment date was.
Once she got the date, she made preparations.
First, she staked out the apartment.
From her observations, she realised that there were not many people around the time Sayuri would be leaving for her appointment. Thus, it was perfect. She could do what she wanted without fear of being discovered.
Okay, to be honest, this scene would have been longer. It's a bit rushed because I didn't want to drag the fate of Sayuri and the twins out too much. I'll be going on about how Kyle was feeling in the next chapter rather than in here.
And to Tishaj: yes, I am just a little devil. A little. See. I was nice here, right? ʱªʱªʱª (ᕑᗢूᓫ∗)
