On hearing her, he stopped, however, Chamberlain did not know why he couldn't turn back to look at her.

If anything he did not want to talk about this matter. 

He just wanted to pretend he saw absolutely nothing.

He felt a lump in his throat and he thought clearing his throat would make him feel better but it proved otherwise.

His mouth watered instead, he did not know why he felt thirsty all of sudden. He gulped.

His necktie felt extremely uncomfortable, so he tugged at it, waiting for her to say whatever she wanted.

Lena's soft voice flowed into his ears, "Am I that unattractive."

"W-what?" He stuttered.

"We've been married for so long yet you've not looked at me once, Am I inadequate?"

At that moment, Chamberlain really wanted to say it hasn't been that long but he held back.

He did not know how to respond to her.

"Do I disgust you?"

He hurriedly answered, "Of course not!"
