Bab 9: Use Your Brain
"Why?", asked Liu Ying Yue.
The woman awkwardly smiled as she looked at her and said, "I have found a lawyer to help me.".
Liu Ying Yue stared at her silently. The silence was suffocating. But a few minutes later Zhang Wei breaks the silence.
"What's the name of the lawyer?"
"Mr.Yang Chen. I'm sure you know him.", said Huang Ru Shi.
After hearing that, Liu Ying Yue suddenly burst into loud hearty laughter. Everyone froze when they heard that. The laugh sounds pleasing towards everyone ears. But it's surprising had a layer of coldness in it. The laugh simply a laugh of devil reincarnation but satisfying. Even though it's melodic, everyone was scared shitless by it, except for the black haired man.
Liu Ying Yue slowly stop and wipes her non-existence tears as she looked at the woman and then
at the two bodyguards.
"Oh, I'm sorry about that. I have heard about him. Surprisingly, he is also someone famous around the legal system. Good choice.", said Liu Ying Yue with a smile as she sips her tea.
Li Rui was confused as to why Liu Ying Yue acted like this, is this woman blind?! she's not safe at all!, thought Li Rui as he glared at the young woman sitting opposite him. He was about to speak, but then, he saw Li Jun looked at him coldly, telling him to shut up.
Li Jun looks away bitterly as he bites his lips angrily. He couldn't do anything as he clenches his fists tightly.
Liu Ying Yue pretended not to notice Li Rui's action.
"Yes. He had agreed to help me. The company and the police also were in it to help.", said Huang Ru Shi as she fake a smile.
"I see. That's great," replied Liu Ying Yue.
"Mhm, I guess this is it. I need to go. There's something I need to do. Thank you again, Ms.Liu, for your support.", she replied as she stood up.
With that everyone stood up as they said goodbye politely towards each other.

"Why did you let them go?! The two bodyguards were clearly suspicious! You said you're gonna help her!", Li Rui yelled.
Liu Ying Yue glanced at him and then ignored him as she walked away.
"Zhang Wei, it's time.", she was walking when she said that.
Zhang Wei half bowed as he replied, "Yes, boss."
After Liu Ying Yue left, Zhang Wei stood straight and then looked at the Li's, "Mr. Li, the business had just ended. I wish I could say this more politely, but please leave. There's a car for you waiting at the front of our manor. You may take the car since your last car already ruined while trying to save our Miss."
Zhang Wei then bowed. When he bows, the workers around them followed suit.
"Thank you for saving our Young Miss. In the future, if you need help, we would gladly help you in the name of the law.", Zhang Wei said, representing everyone.
With that, everyone stood straight again. One of the butlers stepped out and stood in front of them as he said politely, "Mr.Li, this way."
"Mhm.", Li Jun nodded and stood up, the butler accompany him and respectfully show him the way out.
"Are we just going to leave like this, brother?!", Li Rui angrily said as he followed Li Jun.
"Brother!"
Li Jun ignored him.
"I can't believe people called her 'Nation's Defender. What defender?! She's basically an evil woman!" said Li Rui. The butler heard him and then he glared at the young man.
"Mr.Li, please refrain yourself from talking bad about our Young Miss. You might be the Li's, but our Liu's aren't inferior to the Li's either. We aren't afraid.", the butler might say it politely, but there's a coldness in his voice.
Li Rui was speechless. For some reason, he felt threatened. He was about to retort back, but he suddenly felt a chill behind his back. He knows if he says something, someone might murder him. He gritted his teeth, swallowing his anger as silently follows behind his brother.

"Brother, can't you do something?", said Li Rui.
"Use your brain.", replied Li Jun as he turned the steering wheel to the left.
"Brother!"
"I'm starting to think that both of us aren't blood-related."
Li Rui was speechless. His face darkened as he said, "Brother, what's making you say that?"
Li Jun ignored him. Li Rui was confused for a moment, but then his face turned ugly, even though he was angry, he couldn't vent out his anger towards his brother. After all, he still wants to stay alive.
He bitterly said, "Are you saying that I'm dumb and you're a genius? Since I'm dumb, you're suspecting that we aren't blood-related at all?"
"I didn't say anything.", Li Jun replied, innocently.
"Brother, why are you so cruel?", Li Rui sulkily said.
Li Jun stayed silent as he continued driving. Li Rui admitted defeat. He could never win against this brother of him.
Li Rui then suddenly started to think as to why his brother indirectly told him that he was dumb. The woman basically was in the wrong because she didn't help Huang Ru Shi at all. Huang Ru Shi was clearly trapped-
"Oh my god!", Li Rui suddenly shouted.
Li Jun glanced at his younger brother and shook his head. Li Rui finally got it. Huang Ru Shi was trapped. If Liu Ying Yue make a move right there and then, then she would lose. Thus, she needed to wait for the right time to strike. Everyone knows Liu Ying Yue hate injustice. She never backs down. She would fight back until she won.
"You're a genius! Ah shit, what should I do?! I cursed her a while ago!", said Li Rui, panicked.
His brother was right. He was dumb for not thinking rationally. He was so angry back then and offended the Liu's. He felt like crying, but no tears came out. I'm dead, thought Li Rui.
"Brother, help me!", begged Li Rui as he brought both of his hand together.
Li Jun glanced at his brother as a gleam of unknown emotion flash through his eyes, but it disappeared quickly.
"Sure."
