Bab 9: Chapter 9:Straight A student
Once everyone was out of the class, Mr. Ramirez began to ask Angie if his class is a bit boring for her.Angie didn't want to make Mr. Ramirez seem like a bad teacher so Angie explains the reasons for her to seem distracted or bored during class.Angie informs him that the current chapters they are learning she has already learned.Mr. Ramirez now understands the reasons of Angie actions during class but he wishes that she would participate during class rather than work along.Angie informs him that she will participate during class rather than just going ahead and working along.Angie didn't want Mr. Ramirez to fill like he is not helping his students learn.
After taking with eachother and Mr. Ramirez writes Angie a pass for her class and Angie heads out the door and walks to the lockers.It was a good thing since Angie wasn't out for long she manage to change into her PE clothes and do the regular work out before there teachers come out.Fourth period went on as usual and lunch eventually came around and as usual everyone rushed to lunch.Angie waited for Julia and Chantelle so that they can all get to the lunch area together.Lunch went on as usual with all the girls chating about the most random things but the main topic they eventually ended up talking about was about how today is the day every 3 months that all teachers announce the up to date grades.After hearing this Angie now understands why Mr. Ramirez told us our grades even though it only been month.I mean to be exact school started 3 months ago but Angie didn' start at Vernon Middle till just last month which was September.
The bell finally ran informing the girls that lunch was over and it was time for 5th period to start.Along with Julia and Chantelle, Angie heads to there history class. Truth be told Angie doesn't really like Mr. Chacon especially since there first encounter. To her Mr. Chacon seemed like a nosy teacher who like to be involved with all the drama with his students.Once the girls entered the room Mr. Chacon became aware that Angie is now hanging out with Julia and Chantelle.
Mr. Chacon: I see our new girl has made friends with some of my good students.I guess that is a good thing.
Angie: (Looks at Mr. Chacon while walking to her chair) I guess I am right about you.
Mr Chacon: What is that supposed to mean.
Angie: It means that... (bell rings signaling class is to start)
Just as Angie was going to respond back to Mr. Chacon, the bell rang and of course just as he was about to take attendance, Alec walks in not really caring that he is late as always.Just like always Mr. Chacon writes Alec a detention note. Of course most of the girls aroundthe class especially the two girls infront of Angie who are behind Alec as usual are trying to get his attention and of course they get nothing but his back.Due to Alec being late it puts the rest of class about 10 minute behind schedule and Angie hates that.After taking attendance everyone knew what was next to come it was time for Mr. Chacon to tell them ther grades just like the previous classes besides PE of course.
Mr. Chacon class is actually one of the classes that no body ever wants to find out, there grades because hardly anybody could get a straight A+.Typically those who are actually passing his class the highest anyone can get is an A- or B+.Just as Mr. Chacon was going through his list of students he finally lands on Angie name.Angie is sitting at her chair not really caring about the whole grades issue and was just going ahead and working on the assignment on the board.
Mr. Chacon:Okay so next up is Angie Enriquez.So do you want your grades out loud or you want to get up and see it here on the computer screen.Im giving you the option since you are new.
Angie: (Angie then looks up to Mr. Chacon) It does not matter, you can go ahead and announce it out loud.
Mr. Chacon: Okay dont get upset at me once everyone knows your grade.Actually, you have an A+, 100% in the class. You are the only one that has gotten a straight A+ in my class in the past 2 years.
After hearing her grade, Angie continues to work on her assignment.Mr. Chacon continues to announce every students names and grades. One of the students who Mr. Chacon did not bother to ask if they would like there grade in private was Alec. Since Mr. Chacon was tired of having this student come to his class late since the first day of school.
Mr.Chacon: Okay Alec, you have a D, which I am not surprise since you never turn in anything and you are always late.I mean even when you are on my detention all you do is be late and put your head down.Don't you think you should work on that.
Alec looks at Mr. Chacon like he was ready to curse him out.Instead of doing that since Alec did not want to get kicked out and have his parents be called. He just puts his head down as if he didn't hear anything.Mr. Chacon did not want to waste anymore time so he finished up with everyone elses grade announcement and continued to teach class.After about a whole hour of being in Mr. Chacon class the bell finally rang.Angie then rushes to meet up with Julia out of class but she accidentally bumps into Alec as she walks out the door.Angie then stops and turns around to apologize and then runs off to meet with her friends.
