Bab 183: Board Meeting (1)

Yang Xinyu seated next to the Chairman and blew a soft whistle. He wanted to get over with the meeting as soon as possible. He looked at the Chairman but he exuded a steely persona, enough to become serious.

The meeting started on time and the Chairman read the documents about the company's performance. He stated how company had grown multiple times with Yang Xinyu at the helm of affairs. He talked about the gross and the net profits. All other board members listened to him with apt attention. Then he stated the purpose of calling the board meeting. "It seems that some people are not happy with Yang Xinyu as the CEO, and they seek his removal," said the Chairman looking directly at Yang Chún qiàn.

But Yang Chún qiàn avoided his glare. She looked at her nephew and smiled at him widely making sure that Yang Xinyu notices that.
