Bab 4091: King's Attack

I defended against its claw and all its momentum and ready myself to retreat after the second attack when it did something unexpected.

It opened its mouth and not to roar, but a dark, fiery missile came out of its mouth.

Seeing it, my heart shuddered.

This energy is dangerous, and there is a lot of it, in that attack. Enough to finish me two times over.

It stayed there for a fraction of a second as the monster looked dead into my eyes before shooting its missile toward me.

It wasn't a long ago. I was thinking about using the shield for something unexpected.

Now, I am doing it and hope, that it will protect me against this powerful energy.

BOOOOM!

A loud boom rang out as the missile crashed against my shield, hard. Lighting it like a sun, before spreading over it, entering inside.

Immediately, my armor lit up.
