I cursed; the sword cut deeply before it disappeared. If it had been a fraction of late, I would have found myself cut in two.

It is too dangerous, and I might have acted hastily. Going for the first clear chance I had seen from it. I need to be careful, not to make such a mistake in the future.

I hope that the Lizardman survives after the price I paid to kill it.

A moment ago, to crush its defenses and pull it inside my core quickly. I took the risk and sent it near death's door. Usually, immobilize them when I pierce the sword inside them for safe harvesting.

The things are looking delicate for it. It might survive the harvest, or it might not. 

Well, at least I will get a crystal from it. If it did not survive. Their value is not even a tenth of the essence rose, but it is still better than nothing.
