Bab 2228: Soul Grandmaster

The huge staff of the Goatman crashed against my body. I felt like the whole mountain had crashed on me; it felt worse, with thousands of daggers attacking my soul continuously, trying to shred it apart.

To be honest, I could have dodged that attack if I wanted to, but that would have made me a target of Bullaman's attack, which is coming from behind. So, I decided to take it head-on while avoiding the attack of Bullman by inches.

As I had flown back like a rocket, I began to activate all my soul defenses. Most of them were not active, which I know is a mistake I will never repeat again.

As for the soul attack and staff that just hit me, they were unable to do anything to me despite striking it directly.

The first stage of mountain forge art had made my soul extremly pure and powerful. While the soul that attacked me is powerful, they were not even able to lay a scratch on my soul, aside from giving the pain.
