Bab 423: Conquer the World

"So, what will happen to Li Qiang now?" Fu Jin asked while they were looking at Li Qiang who was lying peacefully behind the glass window.

"If you are asking me… whether I have forgiven him or not, then the answer is no." Jiang Yue said. "I will talk to him once he wakes up." She then stared at the man who was said to resemble her father. The argument earlier with her mother made Jiang Yue agitated.

It would be a lie if she said that she was not affected by her mother's cowardice. In fact, she hated it. She hated how her mother created a mess, then ran away in hope to live a peaceful life. However, at one point, she also understood her actions.

She was a mother. And just like every mother, Wang Ruo did her best to protect her. However, for Jiang Yue, her mother took the wrong approach to protect her. She withheld important information, which could have saved Jiang Yue's life. That alone was something that was already very wrong.
