He looked at them blankly, but behind his emotionless expression was his glare begging for an answer without having to ask.

"Husbands? Lord Raven. Some young ladies have decided to not take any husband to serve you."

Raith's eyes went round. Now this was even worse than what he was thinking.

Some of them decided not to take a husband for the sake of serving him. Where? When? How?

How come all of this happened and he didn't know?

The lady looking at the surprise on his face laid with inquisition, explained further.

"Lady Slyvia and Lady Maria created a squad of ladies who will be in charge of your protection. While Lady Slyvia is in charge of their training to be battle masters, Lady Maria has been teaching us how to effectively take care of a man"
