Bab 396: Revenge 397: Keep Making Your Man Happy

[The next day]

Anna heard the entire from Nathalia, and there is one thing that is bothering her mind. "Are you sure that Elizabeth's parents won't try anything at all?" 

Nathalia said that Elizabeth's parents always give in to Elizabeth's every whim, and she somewhat worried that they might actually try to get Elizabeth out. But then again, even if they do that, Leonardo Vendallin can prevent that from happening.

"Well," Nathalia started. "My dear father, showed his true colors to Elizabeth's parents the other day. He said that if they try and help their daughter out of prison, then he will just send someone to kill Elizabeth." All in all, the only option that Nathalia's father gave to them is either to let Elizabeth stay in jail for many, many years or send an assassin to kill Elizabeth at night.

Elizabeth's parents don't like both options, but ultimately their daughter's life is more important.
