"Brother, what nonsense are you talking about? You know very well who I like." Lannie knows that her brother is only joking around with her, but she does not like it when her brother jokes like that.

"Lannie, why can't you be honest with your feelings with Erik?"

Kyle is worried about his sister; he has no problem with her liking Erik because Erik is a good man even though he is in many relationships before and still is. But those relationships are just Erik's way to prevent his parents from marrying him off with some spoiled rich girls that he no idea about.
