Bab 33: Revenge 32: Making Them Regret
"Golly, I didn't expect to meet here too... out of all places... I think fate is playing with us." Anna saw her mother's playful grin after she said that. She wonders what kind of connection does her mother have with Zen's father.
"Mom, you know general Zack?" Aaron asks his mother. Mary just nodded to her son in response.
Hearing the word 'mom' coming from Aaron's mouth and referring to Mary, Zack was in shock. "They're your twins?!" He exclaimed.
Eleven years ago he knew that Mary has her own family but he never saw her children. Looking closely at Anna and Aaron he saw some of their similarities to Mary. Their eyes, that deep dark eyes that can make you drown into it.
"Yes. Jealous?" Mary said in a teasing way.
Zack's mouth twitched in annoyance. Mary sure does know how to tease him. Back then, he remembers saying to Mary that he wanted to have twin children in his life, but unfortunately for him, he only has one but then again he is still happy having Zen as his son. "No. I am not."
Zen narrowed his eyes between his father and Anna's mother. He has a suspicion about their connection with each other. Does both of them have a deep connection in the past? If so, this situation should be awkward right?
Zack looked at his son's expression and could already guess what he's thinking which doesn't really please him. If his son is wondering about their connection with each other it's definitely not a romantic type of connection. It's more like a master and slave relationship between them and he's the slave.
Mary also saw Zen's expression and said, "Kid, it's not like that don't worry." Mary only saw Zack's son when it was still a baby and she could already tell that Zen is that child. The way he looks right now is similar to Zack but the atmosphere that surrounds his is not similar to Zack's. He's more like a happy go lucky of person, unlike his father, who's more like a very authoritative type of person.
Hearing that Zen's suspicion faded. For a moment he thought that if they have a deep relationship in the past it would really make things complicated between his mother and his father and their family is going to shatter. If Zack knows what's running in his son's head he literary knock some senses in his head, what he's thinking right now is utter nonsense. Zack himself loves his wife dearly and cheating on his wife is not something he could never do.
The scene that unfolded in front of Anna is something that she did not expect. She knew that her mother is a very influential person and know a lot of powerful people, but it never crossed her mind that her mother would have a past with the one and only general Zack. She then suddenly realized that there is a lot of things that she did not know about her mother and Aaron also think the same.
Noticing that her mother is not scolding her she felt relax for a moment, she really got to say her thanks to general Zack. Thanks to him her mother has forgotten to scold her. Also deep down she knew that her mother would really scold her big time for her recklessness.
Mary who came to check on her daughter and son and scold Anna at the same suddenly engrossed herself in reminiscing the past with Zack. She also met Nathalia and Josh who's parents are also Mary's old friends in the past like Zack. Nathalia asked Mary how she knew her parents, but Mary didn't tell her and only told her that she should ask her parent for that information.
After the long hours of talking Zack is now going to send the kids home. "I'll see you in school," Nathalia said and bid goodbye to Anna. Anna was reluctant to let Nathalia go because she wants them to continue their talk and wants to avoid her mother's scolding for a while. But all this wishing is not going to happen, though crying in the inside she has to accept it.
When they Nathalia and the others are gone the only ones left in the room is Aaron, her mother and herself. The room was so quiet and it was deafening in the ears, Aaron who doesn't like the atmosphere broke the silence and said, "How long is Anna gonna stay here?"
"For at least two days..." Mary's voice was cold as ice. He voice really made the twins feels scared at their mother. Truth to be told, Mary doesn't really gonna scold her twins her voice is only like that because of what had happened to them. The person who kidnapped her twins made her angry to the point that she wants to kill to release some stress. She already heard all the details from her twins' friends and only wonder who has the guts to kidnapped the Coleman family's precious gems.
Without any hints, Mary went outside the room and called someone. "Leo, have you heard about what happened to your daughter today?" She asked.
"Yes, and I'm already on it. They're gonna regret messing with us." A cold and vicious voice was heard on the phone.
Mary smile in satisfactory in Leo's response, this guys has never disappointed her in any important case and always ready in everything she asks. "Good. I'll wait for the good result, but don't make me wait for too long I don't have that kind of patience." She said and ended the call.
Mary is going to make them regret their actions against her.
Bab 34: Revenge 33: Reuniting With Old Friends
Seeing that their mother suddenly left the room the twins were confused isn't their mother going to scold Anna for her reckless action? Or was it their mother is just not in the mood to scold her? Whatever the reason is Anna just felt relieved.
Three days have passed and Anna and Aaron back in school. At the moment they both step inside their classroom a certain voice called Anna, "Anna!" She looked at that certain person and run towards her leaving her brother behind.
"Nathalia!" She exclaimed. Anna holds Nathalia's hands.
"How are you? I'm sorry I couldn't go visit you these past few days. Since that day my dad forbids me to go outside until further notice." Nathalia solemnly said. No matter how much she begs her father to let her go see Anna her father is firm in his decision, she even asks her mother to persuade her father but her mother decision was also the same at her father's.
"It's fine. My mom is also the same." Though she stayed at the hospital for two days outside her room was a group of bodyguards. She was annoyed by them because every time when a patient passes by her room those bodyguards would always make commotion that she couldn't sleep well. Even the doctor and the nurses that are assigned to her room was annoyed by them, they would always have to get through 'inspection' in order to get in Anna's ward.
As Aaron got near the two girls he asked Nathalia, "So where are those two? How are they?"
"Well, Josh is fine but for Zen..." Both Anna and Aaron got curious when she stop and think for a while. They both wonder what happened to Zen, as far as they both know nothing bad had happened to him that day. "...he kinda... um... torturing himself with his training."
"Training?" Anna asked.
"You know as the son of the one and only General Zack it's most likely natural for him to enter the military in the future and if his achievement is great he might the next general like uncle Zack." Nathalia just plainly said.
To Anna's point of view, it does makes sense if Zen is on training if he wants to enter the military in the future, but why does he have to torture himself? Nathalia notice that Anna is pondering on something could already guess what it is so she said, "If you're wondering why you should ask Zen himself. He has basketball practice after school so if you wanna get your answer we can go to his practice."
"That's a great idea. I heard that there's a try-outs in the basketball team so I'm gonna try it out." Aaron said agreeing in Nathalia's claim. Basketball is not really Aaron's favorite sport or any sport but he got nothing to do after school, he can just go home directly but since his grandfather moved in his home and he is the one who's gonna take over their family business in the future his grandfather is just gonna make him work and work, that's why it's better to get in a team for him than have his grandfather train him to death.
"Now everything is decided let's take our seats the teacher is here now," Anna said and they take their seats as their teacher started their lesson for the day.

Meanwhile, at the place underground in a secluded house, there's a round table and a chair while Mary is sitting in the middle. She's surrounded by the people she trusted dearly in the past up until now and one of them is Zack Fischer the general whom she trained and toyed with.
"Hmm... it's been a while since we have this meeting... how long was it... eleven years?" Zack said while reminiscing the past events in this certain place.
"Unfortunately Zack I don't have the luxury to reminisce with you. I am still upset about what had happened to my twins." Mary said in an angry tone. "Leo, what's your status?" She asks the man wearing glasses. Leonardo Vendallin, Nathalia's father he's the one who trained Nathalia in hacking skills and also the only one that Mary trusts when it comes to getting information on their enemy.
Leonardo and Mary met way back before Mary met Zack, they were gangmates they both created the gang they were so proud of back in the day. They both understand each other better than anyone else, they also both know each other's deepest secret. This kind of relationship between them makes Zack and Mary's missing husband jealous back then. When Zack met Leonardo they both don't get along at all there is always a fight or argument between the two men, sometimes the reason for their fights is very childish and up until now they still do that.
"I still don't have a clue, I'm having a hard time getting into it." Said Leonardo. Even though Mary is quite disappointed she still forgives him after all the dark circles that surround his eyes says it all that he's truly is having a hard time finding a clue about those imbeciles.
"Then that leaves us to those kidnappers that your daughter shot that day." Said the man with a devilish smile on his face. Mike Visser Josh's father, out of all them he's the guy that gets along very well with Mary when it comes to punishing their enemies, they both know what to use to make them talk, threaten them, or make them speak. Both him and Mary met after Mary's hellish training with Zack.
"We can't do that anymore," Zack said looking grimly.
"Why is that?" Asked Alfonso who's been quiet all this time.
"Well... When I was about to interrogate them their body suddenly exploded in front of me yesterday, luckily I'm fine." Zack felt shivers in his spine as he said that, recalling what had happened yesterday was so disgusting for him that he took two hours in the shower.
"Looks like our enemy right now is quite... amusing. They literary put something on those kidnappers just in case they fail and make them talk." Alfonso is one of those people who like a challenge and this new enemy of theirs is something that he will have fun in such a long time.
Mary is just listening quietly to them as they talk to find a solution to their problem. Just as Alfonso just said that this new enemy of theirs is quite a challenge for them, even Leonardo is having a hard time finding them and the only people who made contact with the enemy is gone. Each passing second is making her more and more impatient, she really wants to get her hands on their neck and snapped it.
This little gathering of theirs is an organization that they built to strengthen their power in the underworld. This is their first time meeting like this in the past eleven years since her husband had gone missing for god knows where. Looking at the chair in front of her which no one is sitting on it makes her miss her husband and at the same time angry. He left without any warning to any of them in this room, Mary just sighed inwardly thinking that if her husband is here does this mess would be solved immediately?
