Bab 214: Whatever Happens

Within a matter of seconds, an intense blow hit the cab and at that moment, Davi felt her body slammed forward against Kaide. And before she knew it, her face was already buried in his chest while the man's arm was wrapped around her head.

The collision happened in a blink of an eye and it shocked Davi to the core that she couldn't move for a while. Thankfully, her senses recovered quite fast and as she lifted her head, Kaide sensing the danger have passed, slowly released her.

"Are you alright?" Kaide anxiously asked. However, Davi didn't answer him because her eyes widened the moment she saw blood flowing from his neck.

"Blood! You're bleeding!" She yelled but before Kaide could utter a word, the driver screamed for help. Kaide disregarding his own wounds, the first thing he did was inspect whether Davi was hurt.
