Bab 29: On what ground?
"Are you hungry?"
Before I even manage to reply Alex's question, my body give it's answer first. My stomach really knew no shame, so eager in giving response with such a loud growling sound. Enough to be heard by the passerby who smile at me. And some chuckle at us when the sound also longer in length.
Urgh. Makes me want to punch my own stomach. I don't dare to look up to the person who giving the question. Alex grab my hand that holding his belt and rush me to food corner.
"What do you think you you want to eat?"
"Ummm, KFC, Mc'Donald, noodle station..."
I mumbling softly, recited the row of restaurant until I see my favourite place.
"Subway. I want a sandwiches."
Alex choose a table and "guarding" our luggages before urge me to pick what I want to eat. The restaurant is not to pack with customers and only one eldery customer is making order before me.
Looking so many fresh vegetables and chicken teriyaki really whetting my appetite. Once it's my turn, I tell my choice to female staff in front of me. But my order has been interrupted.
Another male staff wearing another different uniform color pat the shoulder of the female staff to takes a break. She seems surprised with the request that looks more like an order. The new guy swiftly take her place.
"Miss, can you repeat again your order?"
"Sure".
I give a big smiles since he gives me one first. What a handsome guy. I look at his name tag. Alexander.
Hahaha, same name but opposite personality. Still amused with my own thought I place my order of a 6 inch Italian BMT.
"Which bread would you like to have and is he your family member?"
Huh?
I look up at Subway staff, confusing if I hearing a wrong things?
The Subway's Alexander smile sheepishly while looking at the table where Alex sitted. Alex is frowning at us.
"Uurm, yes?"
Why my answer in my ear sound like a question?A husband also considered family member, right? But what's make me perplexed is the reason behind the question. Is he interest on Alex? But he looks like a straight guy.
"Mah!"
I was shocked Alex calling me by pet name. This is the first time he use my name addressing me. So far, he only talk when our eyes met or even if it was not the case he never directly use any name.
But suddenly called me Mah really surprised me big time. I thought he will just using my first name.And calling my pet name is dangerous to me.
I easily can love that person who use it. That why I always remind my father and SisGie never let outsider use that name when calling me. But Alex is not exactly outdider. He is my husband, but still a stranger in my life in many way. Should I correct him? But on what ground?

Shima_Himawari I'm still in hospital bed. It's hard to write with left hand when you are right handed. I will try to post another chapter tomorrow if I got discharge today. No promise though because I am still dizzy after falling down in bathroom head first. You all must be extra careful too when using toilet/ bathroom. Have a good day everyone.
