Ming Rusheng averted his sight from her to look into the file and said, "I mean, we still have lots of work to do, so you should stay."

'What was I expecting from this man? I am to blame for being so hopeless,' Lu Lian cursed herself in her mind and said, "We have finished everything important. The rest work; I'll make sure to work overtime tomorrow."

Ming Rusheng stared at her, and she turned without even waiting for his reply. 

Ming Rusheng stood up and grabbed one file from the shelf at his right side wall as he strode toward her. 

THUD!!

She was about to open the door, but Ming Rusheng closed it the moment it opened a little. He stood behind her, resting his hand on the door to not let her open it. 

"What are you doing?" she asked, not turning to look at him and as she still held the door handle.
