The caretaker put Lu Lian's dress on the chair, which was nicely folded and ironed.

"The clothes are ready. Ms. Lu can join for breakfast after getting ready," the caretaker informed. 

Busy with her thoughts, Lu Lian nodded lightly, and the caretaker left.

Lu Lian got freshened up and ready to go out. All the while, she was thinking about why he didn't inform her before leaving. Was there something important that he had to leave? She felt worried for him and wished to return soon so she could meet him.

Lu Lian went to see Mr. Wong, who was waiting for her at the breakfast table. 

"Morning, Ms. Lu," Mr. Wong greeted, sitting at the traditionally designed table.

Lu Lian smiled lightly to greet him, "Good Morning, Mr. Wong." 

Mr. Wong didn't fail to notice the disappointment inside her, and he could understand the reason.
