Bab 134: Not someone who understands words

Fu Mian tosses and turns on the bed. She can't sleep. She is worried about her mother and father. 

Her father did not make any promise to her. Is he going to kill her mother because her mother went mad? She believes in her father. He won't harm her mother. 

She sits up, taking deep breaths. Her forehead creases with worry and fear. She still wants to make sure. Who will help her? Pretty Eyes isn't coming here anymore. Her uncles won't tell her anything. Uncle Klyn would have helped her, but he's not in the castle.

Xiao Chun Dan pushes the door and comes into the room. "Fu Mian, are you awake?"

"Uncle Dan." Fu Mian's face becomes bright. She climbs off the bed and runs to him. "Did Daddy hurt Mommy?"

"No." Xiao Chun Dan scrutinises her with a tint of guilt in his eyes. "Fu Mian, do you want to see your Mother?"

Fu Mian widens her round eyes. "Can I see her?"
