Bab 389: Birthday

Chenglei was rolling in his bed the next room wondering what Xing might be doing. He knew she didn't eat a lot during dinner and when she left for her room she looked sad. In fact he noticed her face changing to sadness when he told her to stay in a different room. He couldn't understand what she was thinking.

Is it because she wanted to stay with me?

Does she realise that I'm a man and it is hard for me to stay on the same room as the woman I like? Literally and figuratively hard? Too bad my heart is not that hard to see her weeping afterwards!

There are fruits in my room, so there will be fruits in her room too, right? Did she eat it ? Or did she just drink the wine she secretly sneaked inside her sleeves?

Should I go take a peek?

She'll be fine! It would be bad if I got caught sneaking in her room in the middle of the night.

Chenglei tried to close his eyes and sleep.
