Adam hugged his girlfriend and rubbed her back. "It's okay. My father is a bit of old fashion. I believed my mother can find a way to sway his decision. Let's just give him time to think things over. Let's just hope for the best and prepare for the worst."

"Why you supported me?" she asked.

"Duh! It's because I love peace I don't like war. Would it have been better if all leaders will be united with one common goal to unite and live with harmony under the banner of peace? Living in peace is awesome, living under constant wars and conflict is emotionally and mentally draining and stressful and who would like to live in that kind of world?" Adam said.

Jessy grinned, feeling grateful that she will always have Adam's back supporting her cause. "Thank you for your understanding and your support, Adam. Even if you know that your father will get angry at you, still, you sided with me. It means so much to me."
