Bab 15: Let Uncle Know Your Name!
"You're joking right?"
"I'm serious. Of course, it won't be forever so don't flatter yourself, only until I find out why I don't get mood swings whenever I'm around you." He couldn't understand why he didn't want to take revenge on Mei Ling when she humiliated him, causing his friends to laugh at him for some time before he had to threaten them.
Mei Ling also wondered why he didn't get back at her, she never considered the possibility of romance between them and merely though of him as an obstacle that she had to face for college. He was just a child to her anyways. However, she wanted to make fun of him so why not?
"Oh? Don't tell me you fell in love with me?"
With rosier cheeks than usual, he stammered "Of course not, know your place. Did you think that this lord would hold a bit of romantic thought towards you? I purely wanted to make fun of you the first few times and now that you've successfully caught my interest, you should be kowtowing in joy!"
Yawning, she replied, "I'm tired, don't bother me anymore. I'll consider that you haven't said anything."
Just when she started to take a few steps forward, he caught her waist and pulled her in close, "Do you think I'll be patient over and over again with you? You should realize that I've been lenient and if you keep it up with the rude remarks I could bring you to life's hell."
Mei Ling's eyes turned cold. Clasping both hands over his shoulders and around his neck loosely, she pulled him in closer and drawled alluringly, "And if you keep being a pest, you'll experience something worse than life's hell."
Looking down narrowly, Tu Ming saw seductive, tender lips and he felt his heart hitting against his chest violently. His thoughts were now in a mess and he found himself in a blank, not being able to find anything in his mind to retort back. Feeling his entire body warm up, he pulled back roughly and..ran away in the opposite direction.
"He's still a little boy after all..Living two times has made myself have an older thought process it seems." Even though living in this body meant Tu Ming was of a similar age as her, her mindset was a lot older as she had around twenty more years of experience.
Arriving to the dorm room, she opened the door with a 'clik", took off her shoes, and saw three stares when she raised her head.
In was late and she was tired. In exhaustion, her voice seemed more like a lazy sigh, "I'm back."
Hu Hei ran to Mei Ling and the first thing she did was show a picture on her phone. On the screen, she saw herself with two arms around Tu Ming's neck while Tu Ming was holding her with one hand around her waist.
Wrinkling her nose, she asked "You were spying on us?"
"No! Don't misunderstand me, it was posted on school forums just a while ago!" Hu Hei tried to defend herself.
Seeing her earnest gaze and checking that it really was on school forums, Mei Ling believed her and used her own phone to look at the situation. Scrolling down, she saw a bunch of comments:
"I knew it, they really do have an affair!"
"Kyaaa! This is so romantic!"
"Commenter above, what do you mean romantic? Mei Ling obviously seduced Tu Ming just a few weeks after coming to the academy."
"What? I thought it was Tu Ming that was chasing after the beauty."
After seeing the picture of the two holding each other, it was almost like seeing two celebrities having an affair that the fans never knew about. Those that kept up with celebrities activities would constantly ship or roast their affairs, and now it was similar.
"In any case, I ship our campus beauty with the campus tyrant!"
"Are you crazy? The tyrant is just using our goddess, we have to save her!"
"Get out! Mei Ling just wants a rich backing, everyone needs to see her true face!"
"Maybe the tyrant has truly changed..."
"Ahahaha! Commenter above, that is the greatest joke I've heard all day, thank you for amusing me!"
Mei Ling's exhaustion just kept increasing as she scrolled. Yu Ming walked over and took her phone, "You're exhausted, go to sleep and you can continue looking tomorrow."
...She was the one who lived two lives alright? Why did it seem like Yu Ming was more mature than she was?
Grunting in agreement, she didn't bother changing and directly fell asleep with her legs dangling outside the bed.

The next morning, Mei Ling used her account on school forums and posted, "Dear fellow students, you all have misunderstood."
However, it seemed that it got flooded into all the other posts and no one saw it. Deciding she would just go with the flow for now, she changed her clothes and got her bank card.
"Where are you going?" Hu Hua spoke. Hu Hua always woke the earliest as she was the only one who knew how to cook out of all of them. Today was a weekend so they could spend their day outside as long as it didn't hit the curfew.
"The bank, I wanted to check how much my bank card has."
"Why don't I go with you? I've also been wanting to check how much mine has."
Smiling, they both went together. Knowing Hu Hua felt her exhaustion and that was why she asked to come with her, Mei Ling was all smiles the whole way there.
When the lady wearing a uniform saw the two girls, she went over with a smile.
"Good morning, how many I help you?"
Holding up her card, she replied, "Wanted to check how much we had in our cards."
Seeing her card, the lady stopped walking and froze for a brief second. In all her twenty years of working, she hadn't seen a golden card and now she had seen one on this kid! Good heavens!
Bowing down deeply, she exclaimed, "Honorable customer, follow me this way!"
Puzzled, Hu Hua looked at Mei Ling. Mei Ling, on the other hand looked carefully at her card and then looked at the card in Hu Hua's hand. Almost face-palming, she realized that the colors of their cards were different! Hu Hua's was silver and Mei Ling's was golden. As green represented a commoner, silver showed a noble or important person. As Hu Hua was born in a rich family, she wasn't surprised that she used a silver card. However, her card was golden! Golden signified an honorable customer, someone who couldn't be provoked, a man...ehem, a girl in this case, whom could buy this entire bank without batting an eye!
Quickly hiding her card, she put on a straight face and said, "Hu Hua, how about you go check the amount in your card first? It looks like the lady has recognized the wrong person, and I will go straighten it out first."
Hu Hua knew not to pry into the matters of others, and she muttered an "Okay." Under her friend's suspicious but non-prying gaze, Mei Ling followed the lady with the name tag 'Li Wei' to the elevator. Going up to the third floor, Li Wei knocked on a door and loudly announced herself:
"Boss, it's Li Wei."
A chubby, bald man opened the door and huffed, "I'm with an important guest right now, why don't you wait for a few more minutes?"
Right when he was about to close the door, he spotted a golden card and his eyes widened.
Looking at Mei Ling, he bowed at a forty-five degree angle a few times before proclaiming, "Honorable customer, please come in, my apologies for not seeing your importance before!"
Looking at the man he was previously entertaining, he apologized and said, "Mr. Han, it seems that our business has to be postponed for another day!"
The man with surname Han turned around with red eyes, "What do you mean postpone? Can it be that you don't want to finish our deal? And for this little girl!"
He stared at Mei Ling aggressively and got up.
"Little girl, I advise you to come back another day, or you won't know how you died."
"Oh? Are you sure?" Scoffing, Mei Ling raised her card and started playing with it with two hands.

Seeing the card, Mr.Han focused his eyes a few times before smiling amicably. Pushing her lightly into the chair he was previously sitting in, he poured her a cup of tea before asking, "Uncle was just joking with you! Could uncle know your name?"

Bab 16: Investing Into The Future
Crossing her legs, she indifferently replied, "Do you think you're worthy enough to know my name?"
You little brat! When I was already successful, you weren't even born yet!
However, the man's rage was forcibly kept in and he smiled in a strain, "Of course not, how
ill-mannered I am..uncle apologizes alright?"
"Do you think you're worthy enough to be called my uncle?"
...What else do you want! Why don't I just call you my grandpa!
Laughing, he replied, "Of course not, my mistake!"
Looking at his strained expression, Mei Ling pinched the nasal bone of her nose lightly and asked, "Which business are you in?"
Mr.Han immediately replied, "Miss, I'm currently in real estate."
Hearing that, her eye's immediately sparkled and stared at him as if she had just seen a big wad of cash that was found on the floor.
"Uncle, how about you work for me?"
Huh? Didn't she just say that he wasn't worthy to be called her uncle?! But at that moment, he couldn't care less. In front of his eyes was a golden card that he could possibly take advantage of! Nevertheless, he was an experienced investor and that included being careful around investing in people.
"Uh...How would I work for you, miss?"
"I'll leave you with money, and you'll help me with making money. Every cent you receive will be going back to my card. You'll receive a hefty amount at the end of each month."
"...How large an amount?"
Taking out a prepared piece of check from her bag that she kept at all times and a pen from the table in front of her, she wrote an amount before showing it to the man. Once the number written was seen, his eyes bulged out and his jaw dropped. Seeing this scene, the boss and Li Wei went over to take a look. Peeping at the number of zeros just for a single month, their jaws dropped in tandem.
Taking a deep breath in before swallowing a large gulp, Mr.Han asked, "This...This amount is per month? Are you sure not per year?"
Mei Ling was amused by their expressions. "Do you want it to be per year then?"
He panicked. "No no no! I was just making sure."
"Alright, then I'll give you a separate bank account and I'll be refilling it every month Don't disappoint me."
Nodding his head up and down like an obedient dog, he replied "Of course, of course!"
He cried out in his heart: He had really struck gold this time!
Getting up, ready to leave, she realized she still hadn't checked out the balance in her card. Looking to Li Wei, she asked, "Could you check out the balance in my card?"
"Ah?" She decided on the man's pay without knowing how much money she had? Isn't that too reckless?
"What?"
"Nothing, nothing!" Going out and back in the room in a hurry, she gave a piece of paper to Mei Ling. Staring at the piece of paper, Mei Ling felt her thoughts in a disarray.
H..How could there be so many zeros?! She quickly stuffed the piece of paper into her bag before her face turned red in excitement. Having a second life really is so great!
Exchanging contacts with the three other people in the room, she walked to the door, turned around and said, "Mei Ling", then left.
"Hah? Mei Ling?"
The boss interrupted, "I believe that's her name, Mr.Han."
Mei Ling? Why had none of them heard of the Mei family?

Back downstairs at the bank.
Depositing a large amount of money into Mr.Han's account, she admired the amount of zero's she now was investing into for her own future.
"Mei Ling! How did it go?"
Hearing Hu Hua's voice, she hurriedly closed off the amount section. Turning around guiltily as if a thief that was trying to hide, she smiled softly.
"It was just a misunderstand thankfully. Are you done with what you wanted to do?"
"Yeah, should we go eat lunch now?"
Smiling in response, they both went uptown to one of the most expensive cafes', Boba.
However...just when they had settled down in a table next to the windows, Mei Ling caught Bai LianHua and a few friends coming in.
