"You want what?" Liu Zilong on the other line was surprised.
"Someone who can infiltrate a private residence." Liu Zijian answered. He normally wanted to be the one to barge in but since it's merely a presumptions, he's still a bit wary. What if he's wrong and suddenly they got information that Han Meixiu was in somewhere else?
"Tell me the details." Although his younger brother's request was not impossible, it's too risky. He needed to know if the reason was worth the risk. This kind of mission is actually very dangerous especially if the residence is owned by someone powerful.
Although LCG could indeed send people to infiltrate a private residence to gather information and solid evidences, it needed an extremely detailed plan and enough time to prepare to ensure the safety of their people.
But his younger brother was giving it only a very short amount of time.
"Two private residences of Chen Family."
"You're suspecting Chen Dewei, I see."
If the matter wasn't serious he really wanted to tease his younger brother for holding a grudge that he wasn't the first one to be engaged to Han Meixiu. Based from what they gathered, Chen Dewei should not be suspicious but the middle aged woman named Madam Bai.
"I'll arrange it. Take a rest. Also, call mom. She's been trying to contact you." Liu Zilong said. Madam Liu was indeed worried.
"En." Liu Zijian answered. He already knew what would his mother say. He breathed in and out before he made a call.
It was only a first ring when Madam Liu answered followed with a never ending nagging.
To cut her 'speech' Liu Zijian couldn't help but call her out.
"Mom..." His voice sounded tired that made Madam Liu soften a little.
"Little Zi...Mommy is worried. Is there something you're not telling me?" Madam Liu asked. She knew her son. He's not unreasonable. In every course of action he did, there would always be reason why. But what she couldn't understand was, why not tell her? Was she really untrustworthy?
"Mom.."
"Little Zi, do you still not remember your wife? Is that the reason why you didn't want to see her again?"
"She's not my wife."
"I know it's hard to believe that you're married prior to your brother but, please don't deny her. I know you clearly love each other. Even though you forgot each other now, your feeling would stil..."
"Mom, she's not Han Meixiu."
"Little Zi.. I know it's hard to accept but.."
"Mom, that.woman.is.not.Han.Meixiu." Liu Zijian emphazied his words.
Madam Liu was speechless for a time. Being utterly shocked with what she heard. She ended the call.
Liu Zijian placed down the phone on the table and stood up near the window. He knew his mother would demand an explanation. It would only take a matter of few minutes before she would come in his office and extract him with answers.
Liu Zijian was correct. The moment she ended the call, she rushed out of her laboratory and confusedly walked towards the elevator.
When did her son know? Was it when they talked? But it was only for few minutes. Was it the reason why Liu Zijian didn't want the woman to step in Liu's Residence?
Yesterday when she checked the couple's room, all of the things that her daughter-in-law owned were there. Nothing was missing. In short, Liu Zijian didn't bring any of his wife's things to that new apartment. He lied to her when he said he already arranged someone to take his wife's things.
When her 'daughter in law' called her and told her that she didn't even see the shadow of her son since they talked in the hospital, she was a bit angered. How could Liu Zijian neglect his wife? It was simply because the woman wasn't Han Meixiu.
'If she's not Han Meixiu, then where is she?' Madam Liu asked herself as her heart kept pounding anxiously.

As Han Meixiu walked around the mansion, she could really see how glamorous it was.
After her conversation with the doctor, she roamed around the place. She was informed that her husband would be home a little later that day.
Based from the doctor's words, she was undergoing a therapy as she suffered a huge shock when she was kidnapped. When she asked why the place seemed unfamiliar, the doctor said their original house was burned down and she was abducted during the commotion.
Since there's no way given her situation that she could verify the truth behind those words, she just chose to believe it-for now.
She looked at the wedding ring she's wearing.
'Isn't this a bit big?' But since she's been in coma for few weeks according to the doctor, she probably lost some weight.
"Ms Mei, I've heard you love tea. Let's have it near the lake. The weather's good. It will probably be colder the next few days. Let's enjoy the remaining cool weather." Doctor Su said breaking her wandering thoughts.
"Okay." She simply answered and followed her.
As the two talked, Han Meixiu learned more about her 'husband'. How afraid he was to show her to the public as he has many enemies, how he suffered when she's gone missing and a lot more.
To summarize, her 'husband' dearly loves her.
This mansion was actually a proof. It was meant to be his surprise present for their anniversary.
Han Meixiu wanted to answer, 'I get it.'
The constant blabbering of the doctor gave her a subtle headache but she still maintained a faint smile.
When the doctor continued her stories, that sounded like a fan praising her idol, Han Meixiu politely excused herself.
As she went back to her room, she lied down on the bed.
She tried to remember what she could. But unfortunately, there was nothing she could recall. The process only gave her headache.
She stood up and got some water to drink.
As she walked towards the window holding the glass of water she took from the end table near the bed, she heard a sound of the car.
Who could it be?
She looked at the wall clock slightly across where she was standing. It was just past three in the afternoon.
Could that be her 'husband'? But didn't they say he would be home later?
'It's a bit early.' She murmured.
She was indeed correct. The moment she finished drinking the water, a knock was heard. She was asked to go to the study room.
'Finally, I'll met my husband who said to love me dearly.' She thought and smile subtly. There was actually hidden excitement behind her eyes that she couldn't conceal as she walked towards the room.
