Bab 53: Heart to heart with the Don - I

"Everything." He answered holding her gaze with his own. 

A shiver went down her spine when her eyes met his after he said the word. The word seemed to have every truth of the world to it. Of course Salvatore D'alessandro knew everything. He probably knew what was going around seven seas away from here too. 

"I am no therapist Evelyn. However I am here to lend an ear if you want because I have done it a lot of times for my sister." He offered after he blew the smoke from his nose. His nostrils played as he did so but even that seemed to be hot to her. 

She shook her head nevertheless. "I don't want to. I want to feel bad about it as much as I can and then forget about it." 

Salvatore chuckled whilst he shook his head and it seemed like he was experiencing it all over again. 

"What?" Evelyn murmured as if she was in a trance. "You look like you are amused from this conversation."
