Bab 600: Oh Hell No

Laz was working out like normal when the guards came over.

"Yo! Laz. You're needed for something," one of the guards called over to Laz.

Laz came over, wiping himself off.

"What is it?" Laz asked.

"Not sure. I think you're meeting someone important cause it's palace guards who have come to escort you," the guard said, pointing over to the group currently waiting near one of the massive doors to the arena floor.

"Alright. Thanks guys," Laz said, finishing wiping himself down before walking over. He wasn't wearing a shirt but didn't know what the situation was so he wasn't really concerned with how he looked.

The men looked at the young men and couldn't help but flinch a little bit and step back. While they were the elite of the young guards chosen to guard the palace, when compared to someone like Laz, they couldn't help but feel a sense of danger.

And a sense of inferiority.
