Whoever said this is a sweet story: you are all a LIAR! I'm on chapters 180+. Not even lying that I almost thrown my phone to the wall!! How frustrating their miscommunication and misunderstanding was! A disgusting man with a stupid woman. She's stupid not in literal sense. But because she's always thought that she's better then everyone. It's not stated directly, yet still written like that overtime. Be's disgusting in literal meaning. I just wanna read spoiler about what next. My hear and my brain are tired reading this.

My guilty pleasure is reading romance novels, but i hate this kind of stories most, when they got divorce or separated due to misunderstanding and then the FL will flourish by herself and then the ML will get back to her life and somehow everything will just be forgotten and forgiven

It’s honestly a really complicated story....I liked it but it took a lot of rereading for me to really understand the story and I wasn’t as submerged as I would’ve liked to be... I do recommend tho..

The story is quite interesting and the story line superb. The author did a good job by using a lot of literally devices like suspense axaggeratin , alliteration and even pun to really bring out the theme of the story. I really want to know what exactly become of Xia ning,Qou you, the shen family, and even the music king and the rest.

i need to gush on this book. FL centred novel at its finest. i love how it does not need steamy scene or mushy2 scene. who root for a strong willed, post battered heroine who is spiteful full of gut but still traumatised actually. this book is for you. i cant with ML. i was for her to be with other man than ML but its hard to do so. my emotion sway with xianing. if she hate him ill hate him if she accepts him i will. i think? little guy, my heart bleed for u. ur a collateral damage. so painful. hope u meet the rainbow after this storm cutie. thank you author/translator. keep updating. im ur avid fan emo fan 🥰🥰

the main characters are all complex and some of the side characters are not 2 dimensional as well. the author really fleshes out the characters.
for a ceo novel, this has the most realistic personalities, characters and actions. characters are three dimensional and not stereotypical. very interesting read with twists and turns

I have read 400+ chapters of this story and it is frustrating and annoying af. I don't mind misunderstanding if it is done right, but this book so far fails to justify ML's past actions and FL's past and current actions. Many annoying characters( FLs friends, FL's manager, and FL's mother's family) exist. What I was most triggered by how FL says she hates being abandoned, but she is okay with abandoning her son. You can still be a mother without being with your son's father. Overall, FL is a walking contradiction with unearned arrogance. The story feels repetitive, with different scenes and similar conversations. Don’t get me started on ML's pursuit of the FL. It is annoying and repetitive; it's the same conversation, just different scenes. Also, the story has slow development and useless scenes. Ah, I am annoyed; I need a break, then I will try to finish it, but this writing is annoying af.
