Bab 447: Stay

Xia Ning cleaned up her face a little and went back into the room to check on Enoch. He was still sleeping and did not have a fever. She felt relieved and walked downstairs.

Seeing the dishes on the table, Xia Ning took a look at time. It was already 6:30 pm and it was getting dark outside.

Maid Wang saw Xia Ning coming down and said with a smile, "Miss Xia, you must be hungry. Dinner is almost ready."

Gao Wanhua who was reading on the sofa put away the book at once and stood up. She looked at Xia Ning at the staircase, nodded and said, "Miss Xia, is Enoch still sleeping?"

Xia Ning walked down the stairs and walked to Gao Wanhua. She answered, "Enoch is still sleeping. I felt his forehead just now. He doesn't have a fever."

Gao Wanhua nodded. "So let him sleep. When he wakes up later, we can feed him something. Let's go sit at the table."

"No thanks." Xia Ning refused politely. "It's getting late. I should get going."
