Bab 12: Until we meet again
On the second day, Paul postponed the training session since Roxy's contract was finished and she will leave today. She doesn't change much in this two years physically, but even you are a dense, you can still identify that the previous quiet girl with sleepy eyes, was now having a positive outlook in life.
Although Roxy was skeptical at leaving in this warmth place, she knows that if she stays at Rudy's side, she will be only overwhelmed at his growth rate. As a home tutor, she needs to become a good example and not show weakness. Roxy decided that she will train again to become more powerful magician and make Rudy proud.
"Roxy, it's fine if you want to continue staying in our house. There are many things that I haven't cooked for you." When you get to know Roxy on personal level, you will understand how caring she is. Zenith treats her as a friend and she was always welcome in Greyrat's household.
"That's right. Even if your job as a home tutor is over, you've done many things not only for us, but to this village as well. If you want, we can talk to the village head and start to register you as one of the residents here." Paul have different motive of course.
He wants to support his son in his love affair and make Roxy hook up with him. Seeing Rudy man up and always take advances to his home tutor everyday makes Paul feel proud that his son inherited his lady killing charm.
"Thank you for your offer, Mr. and Mrs. Greyrat. But I still have to decline. As you can see, while teaching Rudy, I realize that I lack with open-mindedness when it comes to magic. My goal now is to tour around the world and see for myself the unknown wonders, so I can polish up my magic skills." She also wants her student to feel proud of her, but Roxy keep it to herself.
Roxy was now looking at the dejected Rudy. She understands that his feelings are genuine but his age are not appropriate yet. She finally accepted that she has tiny feelings for him, but right now, it's the best for the both of them to be separated so they can pursue there own path until they crossed each other again.
Roxy approached his favorite student and pats his head.
"Rudy. Even though I tried my best, I am unable to teach you at my current level." Roxy smiles at him bitterly.
"That isn't true! Roxy, you didn't realize but you gave me many things!" Rudy suddenly looks at Roxy with pleading eyes.
Zenith was shocked that his son was addressing his home tutor without honorifics while Paul was happily whistling at watching this two having a drama.
"I'm satisfied if you say that... Ah right!" Roxy searches her mantle with her hand and pulls out something tied with a chain.
"Congratulations, Rudy. Because I didn't have time to prepare a present, take this and bear with it." She put the necklace to Rudy. "This is Migurd's protection amulet. If you meet up with a hostile demon, you can present this with my name and probably communicate better... probably..."
Rudy kissed the amulet in front of Roxy. "I will treat it with care." He declared that no matter what distance between them, Roxy will always has a place in his heart.
Roxy hugged him tightly then kissed him on his forehead. "Take good care, okay?" She let go of him still smiling with eyes full of longing and starts to set off without looking back.
Tears suddenly run down non-stop at Rudy's cheeks. This is the first time that he felt this way, even if in his previous life, he doesn't given an opportunity to love because he was busy at taking part time job so he can support his studies.
He doesn't know anymore if he can be unfaithful to Roxy by loving Sylphy and Eris, but one thing is for sure, his feelings develop further every time they spend time with each other.
Rudy's eyes become Sharingan with two tomoe. He expects that his Sharingan will become three tomoe but something different happen. Although it is hard to noticed, but the deep maroon color of the Sharingan was now become bright Scarlet color.
The Sharigan of Uchiha clan and the Scarlet eyes of Kurta clan has been merged. He doesn't know yet what abilities his Scarlet Sharingan are. To think that his longing for Roxy will make his eyes more powerful.
The parents saw that his son unconsciously activated his demon eyes, but didn't noticed that it's different eyes than before. Since they know that there son has demon eyes, they are not stunned on what they see.
"Rudy, you will meet her eventually." Zenith rub his eyes and comforted him.
"Hmmm... I can see in the future that Roxy will become my daughter in law. What do you think, honey?" Paul tells his wife that Roxy is worth being his son's wife.
"Not now, darling. Our son is still sad in there goodbyes, read the mood, okay?" Zenith, being overprotective mother, glared at her husband to stop teasing there son.
Paul, being afraid that she will banned to sleep together tonight if he teased his son, suddenly shuts his mouth and shrugged his shoulders feeling ashamed.
They wait until Rudy calmed down and they go inside to the house. there son immediately go to his room and lie down in his bed.
For some reason, he feels tired and closed his eyes. Tears slowly falls down to his cheeks while grabbing the necklace and kissed the amulet and he unconsciously bites the chains while falling asleep.
