"Jim, may I call Jian? " Jia asked.

The child had not been away from her ever since. It's only the second day of being away but she already missed him so badly.

"Why not? " Jim replied. If he had been open - minded before, why not now when they are already married. He then excused himself to go to the bathroom.

She picked up her phone and tapped a name. The one on the other line accepted her call. "Jia..."

"Ton..." She hesitated for a moment before she got the courage to go ahead. "How's our son? "

Our son...

Anthon did not answer right away. He was dazzled and hurt for a moment by her declaration. These were the most intimate and sweetest words from her so far. If only...

"He misses you...as much as I do." He finally replied.

Jia got tounge - tied for a while.

"Ton...may I talk to him? "

"Let us talk first."

Jia's heart raced. Damn him. Jim would surely notice her awkward reaction.
